Ok, that's hardcore... I've never gotten to play the arcade version! I've always wanted one of the home versions, so I was very happy with this find!

Found this at the local V-Stock recently. Note the post-it "video does not work". My assumption was everyone working there was too young to know it plugged into RF. When I asked them to get it out of the case the guy said "When we plugged it in, the TV blinked like it was trying to display an image, but we couldn't get it to work." Well, for $10 I figured it was worth it just for the box. Aaaaand, guess what? :-) It is a bit flakey though, had to nudge the power switch a bit. Probably nothing a good cleaning won't take care of.

I found an Atariage lanyard that someone made for the Midwest Gaming Classic a few years back. It has my General Zod profile pic on it, I'll try to remember to wear it tomorrow.

Anyone planning on going? I think I'm going to try to make it Saturday afternoon sometime.

Ah, the glorious Pentium and Voodoo 2 days! Good times. Of course the truly hardcore would buy a 2nd one so you can run in SLI!

If I won the lottery and needed something to occupy my time, I'd be all over this. There was a working Space War on my local craigslist recently, but that one is just too old/rare for me to buy. Once it broke I'd probably be screwed.

I'm planning on going at least one day. It'll be weird going to a convention not having an exhibitor badge and hauling my CoCo setup though!

I'm not big on texting strangers, but I can try shooting an email if he doesn't get back with you guys. But it's further away than I first assumed (thought it was a local suburb), like an hour+ away. With my work schedule I doubt I'd be able to go for a couple weeks.
