I'm enjoying watching this one develop for the 'silly' factor for sure. I'd probably get one. I think I prefer the first set of background colors more than the black and white.

I downloaded his PC demo for the Oculus DK2 when he released it. It was awesome. Stupid Atari BS! Looks like it is still available for download, but I don't know if it will work with the official commercial Rift or not. https://forums.oculus.com/community/discussion/19321/txk-vr-demo-download

I don't remember the exact time I got Zelda 2, but I remember Nintendo claiming the 'chip shortages'. I was 13-14 at the time, and called Toys R Us one day, they told me they had one in stock, asked them to save it for me, and I biked up 2-3 miles and got it. Had the allowance money saved. I was the first in the neighborhood to get it!

Just went to Target at lunch and they had 6 of them on the shelf. Was slightly tempted but I know I'd play it a few hours max, and then it would collect dust.

Interesting, the Missouri Game Con will be 10 minutes from my house and I was planning to attend at least one day. Don't think I'd want to have to guard a bunch of my Jaguar stuff and have it manhandled by the public for 2 days though. Wonder if they want a CoCo that plays the Donkey Kong emulator.

I mentioned the Vectrex earlier, he had 4 boxed games with it for $500. Still too high in my opinion, as it was still there on Sunday. Yeah, I'm gonna keep ranting about the Vectrex because that was the item that offended me the most over the weekend.

It was great seeing all the 'old friends' and meeting other AtariAge-ers for the first time. So FrankODragon, what did Svengoolie say about his cart? I was lucky enough to see it when you had it loaded up at the table. (And thanks yet again for making Fat Axl!) Definitely the least I've ever spent in the vendor hall. I've gotten both cheaper and the prices have gone way too high for everything. A guy was trying to sell a Vectrex in the box with 4 games for $500, and guess what, he still had it Sunday afternoon. That's a hint, buddy! I did get a working TV plug-in Golden Tee for $5, which is going to be a gag gift for a friend. And then Stupus tempted me with a Demon Attack CoCo cart. The label was too awesome looking to pass it up.

I'm not sure. I was ordering one for my sister because she has wanted one for her family, but now I will also have a spare if I screw up the modding of the one I already have. (Haven't tried modding it yet, was somewhat afraid to given the scarcity!)

I think I managed to score 2 of them, if my order doesn't get cancelled. Their system was totally bogged down. Finally got one in cart, got all the way to shipping address, then it stopped made me to go back. Clicked it again and it added a second one to my cart, but I made it all the way to checkout. I didn't want to risk editing the quantities since this time I made it to the payment confirmation page. I had to click the 'confirm' button about 100 times (clicking confirm would load the spinning wheel, then just reload the same page), after about 15 minutes of not giving up it finally went through!

Rumors say these will be in stock at bestbuy.com in about 5 minutes... Sorry for the short notice!
