'Until' they raise prices? I was a 17 year long DirecTV subscriber. I used to get every movie channel included and originally paid about $80 a month. When I cancelled last month I was down to a regular package with no premiums and the bill was $130, $30 of that just being DVR and equipment fees. With every February came the "we're raising prices by a couple bucks because we feel like it" message on the bill. NFL Sunday Ticket was about $130 a season back then. It's $360 if you want Red Zone included now. SlingTV has AMC and Comedy central. HBO Now for Game of Thrones works great, it goes live as soon as the broadcast does.

I went with Sling TV for the cable channel replacement. Works fine on our Rokus and wireless. Currently at day 16 after telling DirecTV to stick it!

That switch is just a DPDT knife switch for controlling power, as it says it's rated .5A @200V. Nothing to do with Atari. No idea why someone would attach that RF connector to it. I guess it could have been a Macguyver way to switch between two different RF inputs. Other folks will have to identify that power supply.

I don't know about patents, but my college did exactly this. Re-inked ribbons until they were torn and unusable.

I don't remember this, since I was in grade school. All I remember about Dallas is "Who shot J.R.?" Also didn't realize Knot's Landing was a spinoff. That was one of mom's shows, and if we were annoying during that hour there was hell to pay.... But we had Atari and a CoCo.

This could be interesting... There used to be one on display every year at the Midwest Gaming Classic, but I don't think it had the cover.
