  1. I just got an e-mail from my craigslist post saying 'your prices are crazy, do some research online, and I'll give you $150 for everything' That's the hardest I've laughed all week!
  2. Ya gotta post those the day after I post mine? Hm... I think I'll take that Ghost Pilots though. PM incoming.
  3. If you don't have The Raiden Project, you need to buy it! That's a good deal he's offering.
  4. PM Sent on the glasses. Does anyone happen to know if the glasses work with the Power Base Converter for use on the Genesis?
  5. No pics of the individual carts at the moment, just the stack of boxes in that initial link. I can get to that soon. Most of them are in very good condition with the manuals in the plastic bags. Blue's Journey looks like it's never been played (though I did play it once to test it)
  6. Ah ok. I should add at least three of those games aren't the super-commons!
  7. I'd take those 32x games if it wasn't this month! I've gone overboard this summer after buying an MVS cabinet back in April.... (Free bump for Ax!)
  8. To make you really jealous - that's Joe Grand showing off the badge You can read up on his design for the badge, as well as the ones he designed for prior DefCons, on this page at his site. At AtariAge he's probably best known for his homebrew Ultra SCSIcide. Nice. Last one I went to was #11. Damn I'm old!
  9. I see a DefCon badge in those pictures... Now I'm REALLY jealous!
  10. No, not everyone bashes all the for sale posts. But MVS bootlegs are so insanely prevalent, that you pretty much have to open up every single one and check them. Many arcade owners preferred the bootlegs because they were cheaper!
  11. I could probably be suckered into the Steel Battalion setup, even though I know my wife will surely roll her eyes at that acquisition... I've been wanting one for awhile. Why eBay only? Send a PM, I have plenty of AA references!
  12. So jealous... I miss Vegas. You guys all have a great time! Just curious, what's the size of the CGE compared to the MGC?
  13. I end up having the opposite problem when selling, eBay says I can only charge X, but it ends up costing more than that. I don't think $12 for one cart is outrageous, if you add insurance and delivery confirmation to priority mail, that's about the right range. I've hit that much with small items easily. Same if you use a flat-rate-box. Parcel post is a different story. Three for $36? Yeah, that's out of hand. I just got an MVS cart in the mail today, I should check what he paid when I get back home.
  14. So what's the story with MVS games with shockboxes? Were they included with MVS games from SNK, or are they always aftermarket, or somewhere in between? I thought MVS kits just came in a cardboard box.
  15. I would definitely jump on a few of those, if you do decide to sell. I'll even up Horseboy's offer and say $500 for the whole set.
  16. Heh, yeah, wonder why there are suddenly two of these in the forum!

    Found!

Star Wars LD is the best way to watch Han shoot first.
  18. Really didn't need that mental image before I leave for lunch!
  19. Another successful transaction. Great seller and awesome to deal with!
  20. I was thinking of cracking the joke: "this item was opened in 2004 and tested with Alien vs. Predator and I boxed her back up" "Well, then it's not new!" A decent price for an untouched system. Still funny to realize I bought mine brand new and sealed for $40. Of course, this was at a surplus sale in 1997. Buying the whole stack would have done better than most of my stock picks!
  21. A good deal on another 'toy' for me fell through this week, so I guess I'll take this scanner instead.
