  1. This guy has way too many boxed Jaguar games. And I am buying way too many boxed Jaguar games...
  2. Very easy to deal with, packed everything very well, an all around nice guy!
  3. I hope I don't start a flamewar or anything with this or reignite some old argument, but I picked up a copy of Tempest X for the PS1, and was playing it tonight. I was so surprised, I think it is a great replacement for Tempest 2000 if you don't feel like hooking a Jaguar up! I liked that the web has a texture on it, and I think overall it's actually a little sharper on the screen, easier to see what's going on. There are some differences with the enemies, no horns coming at you in this one, but there's some sort of odd alien thing that shows up. A couple of the sounds are different, but it does use the same soundtrack as T2K. A few of the webs are differently shaped, but nothing out of the ordinary. Don't flame me too badly, I was a T2K fan back when the Jaguar came out, it's my favorite game ever. But I was really surprised by this $3 used game store purchase! And it just might be a bit easier. I beat my best Jaguar score with this PS1 version on the 2nd try.
  4. Hm, didn't find that from some quick searching, and it's not on his eBay page.
  5. CIB would be preferred, but it's not completely necessary. There's one for $10 shipped on ebay (no bids), but I figured I'd ask AA first.
  6. Have you ever gotten a Retro Gamer mag before? They're nice and big (UK magazines tend to use a large format) and I have no qualms paying $10 at the bookstore for one.
  7. Well, that is awesome and something I wasn't aware of. Thanks! I'm a subscriber now. I just hope my mailman doesn't mangle them.
  8. Well, I won't be getting the new issue for another 2 weeks, the store by work seems to get them about the end of the month. And I think that will be for issue 68. Subscription wouldn't be cheaper here with the currency conversion rates. It's 10 bucks at the bookstore, and subscribing would be $127. Ok, so it would be $3 cheaper for 13 issues... yippie.
  9. Yeah, I posted 2 minutes afterward and still missed out!
  10. Let me know when Gorf is not on-hold...
  11. CoCo boxes had the serial number of the computer on them. Just in case that knowledge matters to you. To Chris++: I'd like to see pictures the Tandy floppy drive, if you can do that. Is it for the CoCo, or the Tandy 1000 series?
  12. I'd bet if it came with a couple of games, it would definitely have sold here. People like to have something to play with on a new system. Right now someone would be stuck going back to ebay to get some games for it.
  13. So wait, the first PM did not pan out? Someone should have said something. I assumed it was sold.
  14. Ok, what is the Donkey Kong Country 2 game based on? I'm intrigued.
  15. I've been doing a lot of buying lately, don't know about everyone else... Sadly I'm not buying any more new systems at the moment (way too much stuff in the house right now) though it is pretty tempting.
  16. Looking to flip a deal from Craigslist that I apparently missed yesterday? http://stlouis.craigslist.org/vgm/1401171624.html lol Good eye. Heh, I just happened to look at it the same day... Called the guy and they were sold already. "Those pictures look familiar..."

  18. Bah, I don't WANNA give up my pristine, boxed, Jaguar CD! I just need IS3 to complete my Nuon collection!
  19. Heheh, "Turn your 2600 into a POWERFUL personal computer!" Looks neat though.
  20. I thought the 32X didn't work with the Genesis 3... http://cgi.ebay.com/Sega-Genesis-3-32x-System-w-7-Games-Controller-Cords_W0QQitemZ360191936654QQcmdZViewItemQQptZVideo_Games?hash=item53dd1cc88e&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14
