  1. Now that I've finally started seriously wanting to buy a NES, my thrift stores don't seem to have any! The ones on Ebay are way too expensive, so I hope that someone will get rid of one soon to my local thrift, so I can buy it. If you have any leads, cheap ones....let me know!

I found my 2600 at the local thrift in GREAT condition for 2$. I cried from happiness.......sigh...:D

  2. ok, so i have my games just cleaned.....how do i clean my system? and if that's not it, what new cords do i need to get and where can i get them? I have it on an rf switch, can it be that the switch is bad?sometimes the game doesn't come up at all!

wrong system i know, but i also need a 2600 power supply, is there a generic one i can get? like from radio shack?

    PLEASE HELP!!!!!

    thanks! :P

  3. I really hope those rude comments weren't directed to me, there was no reason for them... I was just saying that why did they make it easier? for the kids????? Because I noticed that a lot has changed on it, like the heart meter feature....and the being able to save it.....

  4. Thanks guys! Do you have any personal tips on how to get past the first 10 minutes without losing Harry? I obviously suck at this game.....so anything you have will be helpful..... :)

  5. I put this topic here because it's for my 2600 system, but it's the joystick in general (the original atari)

I bought two joysticks at a local savers, both have troubles....I've taken one apart, some one has already done so, and had to put the stick back together correctly. Also, the second joystick I purchased, seemed to work fine, but after playing with it at home, it sticks and won't go left. Can anyone help me on these issues? also, when I go to buy used joysticks, what should I look for in a quality stick? are there any requirements for stick shopping? or am I just being picky? thanks!
