Sweet!  I met Walter Day and Billy Mitchell at a pinball tournament/convention and I didn't get a pic, but I got their autographs on a Pac Man bumper sticker.

This is just a shot in the dark,  but having heard your podcast, I think you've got a pretty good radio voice.  If there happens to be radio stations in your area that exist with actual DJs and Not Satellite playlists,  well maybe one is hiring?  Again,  shot in the dark.  Voiceover work is another shot in the dark.  But Don't give up hope.  Maybe just take something to get ya by at first.   I went quite a while with no job myself, then got 2 offers within 10 minutes of each other!...And now I sometimes get job offers while making deliveries on my current job,...Happened yesterday as a matter of fact.

It's okay to feel that way, inky. None of this is normal, and it's okay to feel out of sorts about it.

Enduro is beautiful game, such a nice experience when you are "in the zone".

As far as favorite Activision game, for me it's Frostbite all the way.  So addictive.

    3. JacobZu7zu7

      JacobZu7zu7

Nice choices, Pitfall is a bit repetitious. I do like Enduro, when in a mood to cruise.

@DoctorSpuds That's an interesting, cool list of ATVI games. Kaboom! certainly is awesome. Not too much into sports games (Skiing) except for Atari Bowling, which I love. But your list made me think of Stampede, which I play quite a bit. Sort of fits the theme. Sometimes I can't get enough of that, even though I always fail to top 1500 on it!

I'm not concerned with printer emulation at this point.

    4. DrVenkman

      DrVenkman

Yeah printer stuff is nice (and I’d love a good dot matrix emulation myself) but I really like the ATX support. There are some titles that use custom IO that won’t run from the SIDE loader. So in that case I’d just as soon run the ATX file as some random hack or crack.

  22. It's amazing. In 1990, the high school I graduated from was destroyed by the only f5 tornado to ever hit the Chicago area. IIRC, it's also the only F5 to ever strike the US in August (ath the time). I was watching some videos, and even though I despised the school, dreading the way my peers would abuse me physically and mentally every day, I still shed a tear.

      Turbo-Torch

That was one of those events where I remember exactly where I was when it happened. Too close for comfort (our sirens in Indiana were going off) and I felt so bad for those people.

Already had a tornado about 2 weeks ago maybe a mile from my house.

  23. "My Dad Wrote a Porno" is the single funniest podcast I've ever heard. New episode is out today. What does the future of Steele's Pots and Pans hold?
