Unfortunately I'll have to pass for now.

While the Ataribox project may be full of struggles, we haven't seen a lot of the hard work yet.
He's too busy with Knight Rider

I've never really been a huge fan of Rampage. I like it, but it gets way too repetitive. At least on single player. The 7800 port of Rampage is way better than the 7800 port of Xenophobe (Both arcade games created by Gary Nauman and Brian Colin.. Dauber and I at Pie Factory Podcast interviewed Brian Colin.)
That having been said, Rampage World Tour is a much better game.

Use the joystick to control any of the mane characters as you navigate the various levels to collect the elements of harmony, and to defeat your foes.
I love a good pun...

Regarding the twin controller, you know that you can't shoot up or down in this game, right? So the 7800 buttons / joypad are more than adequate for left-right shooting.
There is the Flash button...

This thread is almost 2 years old. Didn't the Chameleon die by the time two years rolled around?

Methinks the Atacobox should have a taco shaped controller.

Ahh. It's distributed by hozer...
I'll just let that comment stand. -
I think we are approaching the time of month where "Atari" announces that soon they will have a pre announcement to announce. Then they'll say they have to keep things secret because of their partners and Fat Elvis.
They haven't had an announcement announcing an announcement of an announcement in a while.

I respectfully disagree.
Isn't this the first time you've respectfully disagreed?

UPDATE:
Instead of spending wads of cash that I don't have, I bought a composite cable and a XL / XE USB power cable from 8bitclassics, and it seems to work fine now! I just need to play it for longer sessions too really be sure.-

Basically I'm saying Atari isn't coming back,
...
OK I'll check back in a week, sorry to derail and I know you guys have thought about this before in some capacity, right?
Atariage IS the Atari we all grew up with, in both substance and spirit.
No more need be said or done.

People complain about the 7800's sports titles, and if all you look at are football, baseball, and hockey, it would be reasonable to assume that the 7800 sports titles are trash.
However, both basketball games (Basketbrawl and One on One,) and both golf games (Ninja Golf and Mean 18,) really shine.I'd like to see someone take the code for Realsports Baseball and TOuchdown Football, and tweak the code to make more playable games.

That's exactly what I mean. You don't think I'm suggesting Atari SA would actually create something NEW, do you???
Hmmm...

Is there anyone left out there who doesn't either a) have no interest in playing Minecraft or b) already own Minecraft on at least three different platforms?
I was hopelessly addicted to it for a while. I enjoyed exploring caves in the game.

Hi guys... please understand, it takes an entire day to print one complete shell. I have about 6 now.
I kinda figured it would be a while.

SeaGull 78 is an excellent product!
Ditto. If you can't afford one of Edladdin's premium products, this plus a Genesis joystick make a reasonable substitute.

7800 power supply replacement?
in Atari 7800
Posted · Edited by Inky
I bought the cable below for my atari 65 XE, and it's been a godsend in getting it working. If a form of the 7800 proprietary plug could be feasibly reproduced, would something like this be a decent substitute?
Looking at my post, I realize this is a dumb question...
