    Saturn Troubles

I used contact cleaner inside the controller and in the Saturn.. Didn't think about the connector...
  2. My employer was testing rolling out iPads and iPod touch devices as POS systems in our stores. Apparently we decided to go another route.
  3. I think that's the one. I want to think it recently closed up. I'd love to do a road trip down there to find out.
  4. Those "About atari" bylines on these stories are really sad.
  5. Aladdin's Castle, Louis Joliet Mall, Joliet, IL had an I, Robot. I instantly fell in love with the game.

    Saturn Troubles

OK. I just tried my controller in port 2, and still no left movement. This is weird, because I swore that when I tested it at MGC last year that it didn't matter which controller was being used, it still wouldn't move to the left. I have another controller on the way.

Can I control the system functions if I plug the controller into the second port?

    Saturn Troubles

I've replaced that board. I currently don't know of any other Saturn owners in my area, to where I can do more testing. Ironically, that Ebay auction you linked to is where I bought my board from.
  10. Not sure where else to post this, so I'l put it here... I have a Sega Saturn that was given to me. No controllers, cables, games, anything. I've been trying to get it working to no avail. I have an AV cable and a power cord and a controller. When I power the device on, the left direction on the controller doesn't work. I've replaced the carbon pads inside, as well as the controller board in the Saturn to no avail. I don't have any other accessories.Any ideas?
  11. Wow. Sorry to hear that. Wishes for a speedy recovery.
  12. In my limited exposure to Cloudy Mountain, I really like that game. I am looking forward to your take on it.

  14. I know that if I could program, I'd love to do Two Tigers for the 7800. Unfortunately, I really don't, so there you go.

    Baby Pac-Man

All I know is that I suck at this and the arcade game.
  16. Oh.. "Duck head guy" Dr. Kwak
  17. I really liked the arcade game. In fact I have a video of Dauber and myself playing the game with its creator. The 7800 version, while not bad, leaves a lot to be desired, however.
  18. Even though not preferable, it controls decent with a mouse in MAME Uncovered a lot of interesting stuff about this game when we did it on Pie Factory. The creator was instrumental in getting the Amiga and Lynx off the ground.
  19. In case people were wondering, here's how I have my controller set up for robotron. Hold START and press RIGHT on the pad to enter the controller setup and press... When the setup asks for.... Press A X B B C A X C Y Y Z Z This will setup the A, B, X, and Y buttons with the four cardinal directions. Not the greatest setup, but it sorta works.
  20. Apparently Three Mile Island is set to shut down this year.

@GoldLeader: You line your sidewalks on Halloween with nuclear power plants? Isn't that dangerous for the kids?

^Hehe...It was a bit of an undertaking actually,...He had friends wire them so they'd run off of household current, so they could be plugged in...We wore hazmat suits and masks too that year...I bet he got the hazmats from the same auction...
