Baloney Bopper?
If you play it on HDTV, is the sandwich a footlong?

Look at your mock-up and this shot of MACH 3 and tell me it can't be the same:
I don't remember Firefox having a perspective of behind your plane. I remember a crosshair...

Actually, It looks like MACH 3

I play a lot of Stargate/Defender II. On the 7800 I ALWAYS play Xevious. I actually like the 78 Xevious better than the arcade game.

The SMS RPG's -- Phantasy Star for one -- used the pause button on the console to access additional items.

I'll still take 'em crossbow. The combat was a text label, and I know of a few people looking for a frogger...

Yay! Won my first ebay auction! I'm getting:
Berzerk, PAC-MAN, Space Invaders, Combat, Yars' Revenge, Canyon Bomber, Night Driver, Circus Atari, Skiing, and Zaxxon
Probably not the greatest haul, but I never owned half of these. Not bad for $12..
I was outbid on a 2600 and 18 games by $1 though. Fortunately my Tac-Scan bid is still holding and closes in 6 hours...

I see there's a Chase the Chuckwagon on Ebay.. Bidding ias at $51 right now...

Super des have the original. I love the new sounds on Super and the advancing wall is always great fun.

I would have to say my Ghostbusters (sans instructions and box) and my silver-label Stargate which I have the instructions for.
-
Regular breakout has normal, breakTHRU where the ball destroys all bricks until it gets to the top of the playfield, and steerable, and I believe catch.
-
I always loved the paddles for astroblast. I was able to get pretty far in the game with 'm. I'll need to pull that old classic out and give it a few rounds again.
-
Mousetrap on the 26 used the second option. A light tap on the button turned you into a dog, and a longer press opened the doors. It was an elegant solution for the game, and actually made the game a bit more fun than the Colecovision version.

I actually just tried an image of SMB and one of my favorite arcae game, Liberator (an atari) I'll upload the images a bit later.
-
I used to own that game. It was actually pretty fun.

If this is the Beta I think it is, I believe it plays Weird Al's "My Bologna" as the theme. Am I correct?

If anybody has any of these they're willing to part with, let me know...

I think the Parker one is the same as the Nintendo, as I recall the Nintendo copyright in the PArker Brothers ads.

My 2 cents would probably be no on this one. Whereas Crytal Castles worked, that was a 3/4 perspective that required no scaling, whereas Tempest is basically first person and scaling of the enemies is vital. I just don't think the 2600 could have handled it any better. Maybe it could have with the supercharger however.
I am impressed with the job Atari did on Sinistar. That was a darn good attempt. Xevious could have been a bit better as well, but still not bad. Needed the Andor Genesis mother ship though.

Hello
in Atari 2600
I always wondered what the label on that one looked like, if there was one at all.. Don't recall seeing it here.

Great Adventure Hack idea!

Here's my great idea! Turn Adventure into the Three Stooges! The dragons could be Moe, Larry and Curly, your Dot could be Shemp, and to knock out the three original stooges, you have to pick up the hand to smack them. The object would be to return the pie to the Golden pie shop..
What do ya think?
Okay, so that was my cold medicine talking. Sue me.
