  1. As I stated elsewhere, I think Monster-A-Go-Go could be a good MST3K game, but the problem is, as every MST3K fan knows, there WAS no monster; no THING called Douglas. Only the puzzled men of courage.

Danger! Death Ray could be another good one. I'm thinking Laser Blast could be hacked. Your UFO changed into a chopper, and the bases changed into a phallic death ray.

I'm still thinking about changing Superman into Space Ghost: Coast to Coast. I just need to figger out how to change the colors..

Superman is Space GHost, Lex Luthor is Zorak, the villans are Moltar, Tansut, Lokar, Metallus and musician Beck. The bridge can be the desk, chair and monitor...

  2. Liberator is an AWESOME sequel to missle command and, I think, is a million times better (and I LOVE Missle Command). I was lucky in that my local arcade had this game for about a year..

  3. I played the heck out of Buck Rogers. Still think it is the most underrated Sega title for the 2600..

I thought they did a decent job of Congo Bongo. Tapper is easily one of the best games for the 2600 ever. Tac Scan is mind bogglingly addictive.

I thought the best games for the master system were Fantasy Zone and Phantasy star and Zillion. For the Genesis, Sonic 1 and Streets of Rage 1

  4. First off, I'm a MST fanatic... My favorite episode is Danger! Death Ray -- followed by Monster A-Go-Go. My favorite quote is by joel.. "Then there are times when we all band together to defeat hell, like the time we as a nation got together and said NO to Yahoo Serious..."

Secondly, How can you not like Krull? That game kicks butt! The opening sequence where you have to kill the enemie guards can get pretty frantic. My brother and I would have a contest to see how long we could last on that screen before the enemies grabbed the princess.. I think we made it 5 minutes...

Back to the MST thing.. I think that Haloween could be hacked to become Monster A-Go-Go. The only problem, as every MST fanatic knows, there "was no monster"

  5. The E only has an extended color pallate, as far as I remember. No big deal though as I don't think many software houses utilized it.

The e was Atari's response to the Amiga. The only problem is that while the e had 4096 colors, I think you could still only use 16 at any one time.

  6. One thing I've noticed is that there are some games that I loved in the arcade, but now when I play them on MAME, I can't believe some of the trash I liked, and some of the games I passed up then that I find enthralling now.

One I used to love in the arcade was Arabian, but now I'm like "I LIKED that tripe?"

  7. I don't do alchohol (except when I cook hot dogs or Chili with Beer... yum!), so I'd have to say I reach new and exciting levels of caffination. Iced Tea or Pepsi. Or sometimes a little Sprite in my iced tea (for flavor)

    My wife thinks I'm wierd...

  8. Why doesn't MESS emulate the 2600 when there are many more emulators out there for the 26 that work just fine?

The only reason I ask is because I want to use the cheat feature in MESS to finally get to the end of Double Dragon

  9. I want to recreate my 2600 collection. 90% of what I owned went with my step-brother after my dad and step-mom divorced... Here's what I want:

    Tapper, Tac Scan, Buck Rogers

    Burgertime, Air Raiders

    Pitfall 2

    Frogger, Reactor, Q*Bert

Breakaway IV, Basic Math, Indy 500 (Wcontrols), Basic Programming (W controls) Phoenix, Defender, Missle Command, JOurney Escape,

Anyone have any of these for cheap? Not rich.
