Steve Taylor -- Liver "This CD is so much more liver than some so-called Yanni live record"

That's priceless...

The Epyx Shrine now features Rogue!
Inky replied to Cybergoth's topic in Atari ST/TT/Falcon Computers
ROuge was pretty good, and I also enjoy ZAngband, but I think Angband is about the best one. My problem is that I like to finish things quickly, and this is not the type of game for one to have that attitude. -
I'd give Desert Strike a go. Like I said over thesummer, a simple, yet just as fun, version of this game can be done, basing it arount the Desert Falcon engine. If you break the game down to its minimal elements, I'm sure it could be done. And Battleship And I'd port my favorite arcade game, Liberator.

You can get 3 tacos for 70 cents each, and do take out instead of eat in, so you can drink your Mountain Dew at home, and not have to pay exorbatent prices for drinks. Don't forget to pick up fire sauce, about 4 packets per taco. (that stuff is really weak). Ian Primus [email protected] Taco Beelzebub? Yuk. Can't eat at that place anymore. I've been spoiled by all the wonderful localally owned Mexican places. There's one near wher I work that has an all-you-can-eat lunch buffet on Thursdays for $5.50... Yum!

Thinking about this a bit I'd say either a tank from Combat or the Yar...

Asteriods seems to be going quite well now so I'll continue with that for a bit then put it up for download. There was a psuedo-3d (read: Can't move up or down) 3-D version of asteroids floating around the net. This one is different because it uses the Arcade roms! I used to have it, but can't remember where I got it. I'd like 3-D Yar's revenge...

Having played both 26 and 78 Crossbow (On an emulator) I far prefer the 26 version. The 78 seemed to be too crowded for my tastes.

If you are in the east, White Castles work for me. Perfect gaming-sized burgers. Or spam. I loooovvvveeee spam! Or, try new things with Ramen. Try chopping up fresh Onion and Garlic and poppingit in your ramen. Or chop up some leftover roast beef from the deli and put it in... One of my favs is Tomato soup with Jalepenos, Chopped up hot dogs and shredded cheddar cheese. If not Jalepenos, Tabasco does just fine. I believe meals can be fast, but don't have to be bland. Chili is perfect for an all-day gaming session. Prepare it in the am, and let it sit on simmer for 6 hours, stirring every 30 minutes or so. And when you finally beat Double Dragon, your Chili will be ready! Two all beef-Inkys, special sauce, lettuce cheese, pickles ,onions on a sesame seed bun.

I used to have the Zaxxon game. It was actually quite the fun game. I loved the 3-d element in the game. Your ship was on a stand, and when you rolled the die, you could either move your spaces forward, or click the ship up once on the stand and then take the rest of your moves...

Where can one even get a supercharger these days?

N64 controls are the worst. I never owned a Jag, but what experience I have with the controllers have been good.

Have any board games ever been ported to the 26? I'm racking my brain here, but I can't think of any. One I think that is extremely doable is Battleship. Shouldn't be a hard game to do at all. Just thought of one. Othello, Checkers and Chess.. Maybe that's 3.. And how about someone hacking the graphix on Strawberry Shortcake to represent every little kid's favorite board game character, COOTIE!

Hey, I did mention Moycon first, what with his hitting .. Err.. Admiration of Pitfallaimee and all.

What are the five most indespensible titles for the Lynx?
Inky replied to bergbros's topic in Atari Lynx
Hmm I would say the best 5 games (of the ones I own) are.. Blue Lightning Shanghai Electrocop -- This one can get addicting Checkered Flag And.. RAMPART! Rampart is IMHO the best game on the Lynx. -
I find for my playsation and computers that when I want to buy a game and don't have serious cash, I purchase the lastrest gaming/PC magazine and play the heck out of the demos.

Of course the message boards are corrupted. Look who posts on them for crying out loud! I mean, Between Moycon and Stan Jr., how much more corrupt can we get?
-
Suggestion: With all that is going on in the auctioneering world lately, I vote we put up an Ebay Wierdness message board.

**** * ** * * * * * ** **** YOu have been visited by the benevolent Pac-Man! It is now your responsibility to pass this on to 100 of your best friends, 200 mild acquaintances, 300 people you barely know, 400 complete strangers, and H. Ross Perot within the next 10 seconds. J. Now put your name at the top of the list and drop everyone down a slot Stan Jr. Alex Albert Moycon Jahfish No real reason to do this. Just thought it would be fun.. Remember DON'T BREAK THE CHAIN! Not listening to anything right now, but I may put on Phil Collin's greatest hits or Genesis -- Turn It On Again -- The Hits. Or I may put on the O. C. Supertones, Guardian -- Bottle Rocket, or Project 86. Or I may put on Bob and Doug McKenzie -- Great White North.

There's an ST game called Megapede.. I need to see if that FTP site I posted in the Oids thread has it.
