Funding was killed off by both the House and the Senate when it was revealed that most of them would not be invited. I imagine Ted Kennedy would be Steamed...
  2. For the HTML I'm using HomeSite 3.0. Good stable product.. I actually found some excellent resources at C-Net, as well as a style sheet wizard. I did alittle testing with the tutorials and utilities there, and so far I like how it makes page maintence easy.
  3. Moy, moy moy... Let's see your interpretation of Liberator and Arabian
  4. I've been working on updating my web page, and INKYWEB is coming along nicely. I've discovered some neat tricks for background images, and using table backgrounds as a kind of "filter" for the rest of the page. What I want to know (and I'm not sure if this should go here or in programming) is if there's a good tutorial on Cascading Style Sheets somewhere. I understand how it works, but am not too familiar at all with the syntax. If I can have one page take care of all text formatting for all my pages, that would be super!
  5. Just watch your back, all of you. That's all I'm saying

I also have a couple of other questions I hope someone can answer… I am interested in Shanghai, but how good is the image on the Lynx screen? It must be rather small and hard to see the tiles I would think… I am also interested in Marble Madness, which I found on Matthias Domin's Atari Lynx page, but I don’t understand what an LNX-file for use with the Handy-Emulator is. Shanghai is great. My wife loves it on the Lynx. The tiles are small, yes, but when you move the hand pointer over a tile, there is a larger view of said tile in the upper left hand corner of the screen. Works quite well. After you play it a while you can discern which tile is which without the large display.

I used to write a games column for NIAD (Northern Illiana ADAM) user's group. Hardly fame though. The guy who played the Shoveler in Mystery Men and was on ER (name escapes me for the moment), well his brother works where I do and he pops in from time to time. Hardly fame for me, but a brush with greatness..
  10. What's wrong with this picture? http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?V...item=1334533615
  11. We have the 2600 rarity guide, but has anyone ever considered doing a difficulty guide? Difficulty could be rated on a 1-5 scale with 1 being easiest and 5 being hardest. Prototypes could be given a the numbers above but with a P in front of the number. Example: Space Invaders 2 Moon Patrol 4 Star Raiders 5 Sinistar P4 What say ye?

  13. Main screen says FTP servers are down...
  14. Found a place that has Oids here.
  15. Coleco Telstar -> 2600 -> Coleco ADAM -> 5200 -> Atari ST -> 7800 -> Lynx -> NES -> SNES -> Playstation. All I have left are the 7800 , Playstation , ST, and the Lynx, although some of the others may be lurking at the parent's house...
  16. quote: Originally posted by moycon: Triva Time: What movie is the following quote from. "Didja ever bop your bologna?" Also so we stay on topic. Did Larry Miller ever check out the site? Does anyone know? National Lampoon's Vacation.. Right after Rusty asks if he has Asteroids to which his cousin says "No, but my dad does. Can't get him off the toilet some days"
  17. With the woodgrain Sears Tele-Games it was Target Fun (Air-Sea Battle)
  18. Does anyone know where I can download a copy of the great ST game Oids? I owned it back in the day, and although I was never really good at it, it was quite the fun challenge..
  19. Dauber! Good to see ya post! I didn't know you owned Decathalon....
  20. Ahhh.. Good old MST3K... My personal favorite episode being Danger! Death Ray! I was thinking today about hacking the GFX on Laser Blast to create Danger! Death Ray 2600, but then the burritos kicked in....
  21. That's why AtariAge is my home page and not my lameo personal site.
  22. Lynx 2 definitely... And make sure you get Shanghai, Blue Lightning, Electrocop, Rampart and S.T.U.N Runner (I don't own the last one but it is really good)
  23. Prospectus for Space Ghost: Coast to Coast 2600... 1) Change the colors on superman from red and blue to White and Black and red.. 2) Change Lex Luthor into Zorak 3) Change the villans into Moltar, Tansut, Locar, Metallus and Grammy-award winning musician Beck (from my favorite ep of the show) 4) Change the bridge to SG's set.. Monitor, Chair and Desk. 5) Make the buildings represent different locations on Ghost Planet 6) Make the Daily Planet the 'Magic Closet' where they let the episodes sit for two weeks. Really not too hard to do except for the colors.
  24. I kinda like that show... and the Brak Show, and Sealab: 2021.. If I knew anything about assembly language, I'd change Atari's Superman into Space Ghost: Coast to Coast...
