Which Sears game are you talking about? I have an idea, but if you’ve got what I think it is you’re one of only a few.

Actually didn’t realize these were not released in North America. Thanks for the info. I guess I can consider my collection done then since I only do US releases.

I can believe that. I don’t follow any eBay outside the US. Can’t say I’ve ever seen one of these on US eBay though. Closest I’ve come is a lot of items that had a pair of Melody Chase overlays included. I picked it up hoping a cart was included in the lot but sadly no.

In the last 20+ years, I’ve never even seen a copy of one of these for sale. I know I’ve never had the opportunity to buy one.

It’s been 3 months without any updates. We’re there any arrests? Did any of the items get recovered?

Yeah I have Indy 500 and Race as well. Similar in design but not exactly the same. Still very cool.

I have to believe that all the gatefolds were originally released with them. The question is if ANY still remain intact for the other titles.

Oh ok. Love the Atari ones as well, but I have a special place in my heart for Sears titles. Mine is Speedway II as well, but I’m not sure I’ve seen other different titles from Sears other than maybe Race.

I’ll try to do that. There were at least a few others of these that sold in the past year but they sold immediately at a very large BIN price. I was fortunate to have placed a bid early on this and then followed up with many bids.

Love the first edition gatefolds. I only have one (the same one coincidentally) but it’s one of the favorite pieces in my collection!

Christmas of ‘79. Sears light sixer that I still have today. I think I got Bowling (Sears) with it.

I’ve got a set but haven’t examined them that closely I guess. Someday when there’s time...

Until lately I don’t think I realized just how rare 19 is. Seems to be one of rarest production games across many consoles.

I can’t say how excited I was for the SGM. So disappointed when it was cancelled.

I’m not positive about that but I could have sworn someone had a very early model without that text.

Didn’t the earliest models omit the words “intelligent television” on the faceplate? What’s the front look like?

Oh, that’s heartbreaking! Good luck with that. I hope you’re able to salvage it. Those hex discs are tough! Sears especially.
