  1. If she ends up winning it, you'll see it posted again in the near future for at least $75
  2. I know he's a member here. I don't have a problem with someone making a reasonable profit, but c'mon. Really?
  3. Wow, it didn't take long for these to be shoved out to ebay. Weren't these boxes just recently offered for sale for under $100? Nice profit margin But hey, you should be grateful. You're getting $400 off right now!! eBay Auction -- Item Number: 281032714028 eBay Auction -- Item Number: 281032711909
  4. I can tell by the letter designation and the feedback score.
  5. Nope, a different one from the other "flipper" discussion that was out there. I happen to know this one because of a bad purchase I made from her some time back. Now I always watch out for her listings. She lists a lot of nice stuff, and I also often see when she buys it and what it goes for.
  6. It must be somewhat desirable. The person with the first bid is a flipper that turns stuff around and reposts for at least double. She apparently thinks she can make money on it.
  7. By "surprise" game, I only meant a game that was sent without the knowledge of the recipient. At the time of the posting I had no idea that Choplifter was included, much less that it even existed. Several folks here were teasing of the "surprises" that they had received. It's only natural that folks are going to want to know once that is mentioned. I have no idea of any backstory behind any of this. I was simply asking about the game. Nothing more.
  8. Yeah I've given up hope of ever owning an original Odyssey system just because he's effectively cornered the market in them. I was pursuing it strong on ebay at one point and pretty much every one I listed out was either being sold by him or he snapped up. I got discouraged enough that I haven't looked again in some time. I'd love to know how many of them he actually has!
  9. Actually for him, $825 is a bargain price! I rarely see any of his auctions starting at less than a 1K.
  10. Wow, I underestimated that! If I had the means, I would have bid $1500 in a heartbeat. Of course if I was able to bid $1500 on it, I would also have already completed my CIB Intv set by now. Ah well, back to dreaming.
  11. I wouldn't do $60, but yeah I could still probably be considered crazy!
  12. Yeah, $40 just for that IS steep, but it's one of the boxes I have a strange fascination for for whatever odd reason. I would have been willing to do it for that. There was one recently offered on ebay for I think $60 by someone who bought it just to flip. That was more than I was willing to do.
  13. Wahhhh!! Really wanted that Math Fun but didn't see it in time.
  14. The hex discs are very hard to come by in my personal experience. I've been collecting for over 20 years and never found even 1 first gen joystick missing the hex disc in the wild! Only recently did I manage to purchase a Sears heavy sixer with a set of first gen sticks; one of them with the Sears hex.
  15. I bought 2 items from him, but none recently. I really hope this "surprise" is available for purchase if it's what I think it is.
  16. So is this the "surprise" that folks that bought late got from Intelligentvision? I try to watch how much I buy in the homebrew area, but this has been on my bucket list for years. PLEASE shed some light on this!
  17. Really? Every time I've ever seen anything of interest on the Goodwill site, it has been at a rediculous price. In my personal opinion the prices are worse than ebay. At least on games I'm interested in.
  18. My first love was my 2600, but I've been collecting for the Intelly for 20+ years now and the system has gained a soft spot in my heart.
  19. Yeah, I should really get around to adding a pic. Someday...someday....
  20. Let's just say that there are 2 collectors on this board with the means to acquire this and the passion for the Intellivision system. Sure there are a lot of folks on ebay that aren't on these boards, but I just have to think that one of our big two out there will come through on this. I'll be a little surprised if it doesn't happen.
  21. I would think more. I wouldn't be surprised at $5000. How many hundreds of Spikers are out there and they sell for $1500. I've never seen this offered on ebay before. If I had the means, I'd be all over this. This is my Intelly holy grail.
  22. This should be interesting!!!! No doubt in my mind who will end up with it though.....
  23. Let's see who buys the utahmountainrose copy. Any bets?
  24. ....and it's gone. Took longer to snap up than I thought it would.
