  1. A she? Interesting. I was reading about another female ebay flipper in a different thread. I bet they are dudes, but if not I'm sure they are major trolls and I mean that in every sense of the word, haha.

Nope, a different one from the other "flipper" discussion that was out there. I happen to know this one because of a bad purchase I made from her some time back. Now I always watch out for her listings. She lists a lot of nice stuff, and I also often see when she buys it and what it goes for.

  2. Hey everyone. Wondering if anyone can share what they know about the rarity of the insert that came inside the Tunnel Runner box?

I was browsing for a complete in box copy and saw this one eBay Auction -- Item Number: 2711131885131?ff3=2&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&item=271113188513&mpt=[CACHEBUSTER]

The insert is not that big a deal to me but I did notice someone placed a bid within the first 30 mins of it being listed so it got me curious.

It must be somewhat desirable. The person with the first bid is a flipper that turns stuff around and reposts for at least double. She apparently thinks she can make money on it.

  3. No. The surprise game was Choplifter. Deep Pockets was a gift.

Before someone claims Choplifter as a demo, it was not. The game is complete with sound and no bugs. It was in development since 2004. Many years with nothing happening to it of course.

By "surprise" game, I only meant a game that was sent without the knowledge of the recipient. At the time of the posting I had no idea that Choplifter was included, much less that it even existed. Several folks here were teasing of the "surprises" that they had received. It's only natural that folks are going to want to know once that is mentioned. I have no idea of any backstory behind any of this. I was simply asking about the game. Nothing more.

  4. He has lowered prices on lots of things lately. He told me a few months ago he was not buying intellivisionstuff anymore-god I hope he sticks to that :P And sticking only to odyssey if anything.

A few times he has said he is getting out of his resell hobby and then goes buying mad again so who knows.

But seeing him sell a big ticket $ lot is never a good thing even if its less than astronomical for him, it just gives him more buying money. :woozy:

Yeah I've given up hope of ever owning an original Odyssey system just because he's effectively cornered the market in them. I was pursuing it strong on ebay at one point and pretty much every one I listed out was either being sold by him or he snapped up. I got discouraged enough that I haven't looked again in some time. I'd love to know how many of them he actually has!

  5. 40 bucks is good if you needed anything else in that lot, 40$ for the game itself is kinda steep, dont you think?

Yeah, $40 just for that IS steep, but it's one of the boxes I have a strange fascination for for whatever odd reason. I would have been willing to do it for that. There was one recently offered on ebay for I think $60 by someone who bought it just to flip. That was more than I was willing to do.

  6. exactly... copies of earthbound will sell for 200+, but i nabbed a complete copy of world series baseball for the intellivision ECS in a lot of intellivision games for 50 dollars. 2600 stuff seems to go for less than market value there as well.

not my experience in the least.

  7. Yes and it has retro Videogames so cheap it's crazy :-o !.the prices are prices that I've NEVER seen at a Goodwill before(at other thrift stores but never at a Goodwill).A boxed Gamecube is on there now with a current bid of $16 and rare stuff like the Nintendo Dotgraphics in the box!.The only problem is that if people found out about this awesome website the prices will get like Ebay, but than again im telling you now.

    http://www.shopgoodwill.com/

Really? Every time I've ever seen anything of interest on the Goodwill site, it has been at a rediculous price. In my personal opinion the prices are worse than ebay. At least on games I'm interested in.

  8. who's that?

Let's just say that there are 2 collectors on this board with the means to acquire this and the passion for the Intellivision system. Sure there are a lot of folks on ebay that aren't on these boards, but I just have to think that one of our big two out there will come through on this. I'll be a little surprised if it doesn't happen.

  9. this one will be nasty bc there lots of snipers out there. many of the resellers to are watching. i see three prominent AA have placed bids. This will be a fun one. im predicting over 2k

I would think more. I wouldn't be surprised at $5000. How many hundreds of Spikers are out there and they sell for $1500. I've never seen this offered on ebay before. If I had the means, I'd be all over this. This is my Intelly holy grail.
