  1. Thanks! It's great. I also got Tenebra Extended. Good stuff!
  2. Hi, I don't have one, but I went to check out esphomeflasher. I tried installing it a few different ways, but always get $ esphomeflasher -h Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/bin/esphomeflasher", line 5, in <module> from esphomeflasher.__main__ import main File "/usr/src/fujinet-flasher-master-github-2023-11-25/esphomeflasher/__main__.py", line 10, in <module> from esphomeflasher.common import open_downloadable_binary, open_binary_from_zip File "/usr/src/fujinet-flasher-master-github-2023-11-25/esphomeflasher/common.py", line 9, in <module> os.environ['SSL_CERT_FILE'] = os.path.join(sys._MEIPASS, 'certifi', 'cacert.pem') ^^^^^^^^^^^^ AttributeError: module 'sys' has no attribute '_MEIPASS' Would you know how to fix this? I run an "unusual" flavor of linux, so it is likely I may need to fix my environment.
  3. Hopefully someone showed up! I don't have FN myself. There was a game on Nintendo DS that was a blast playing with other people: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clubhouse_Games
  4. Warming up to this, as I've avoided all video upgrades up till now, but I really like the idea/design behind this one. I guess this wouldn't disable or modify the original video output din signals? Would the common way to install this be to have a HDMI connector on the 8bit? Either added or using an existing cutout? I am guessing no, because we would be also using RGBtoHDMI, and only need one for the different Ataris that have the mod. Does that use some kind of connector? Sorry couldn't suss it out. Also haven't really dove into the Raspberry PI scene yet, may be a good opportunity. Thanks for any answers, I might install this on an 800, 800XL, 130XE, and XEGS if doable.
  5. That's fine, artifacting isn't that popular, so it probably won't be added.
  6. Well I meant if you were playing a game that used Basic Graphics Mode 8 if it would also produce artifact colors. I am assuming/guessing no.
  7. I like this idea. This wouldn't also generate artifacting would it? I know it's not a popular feature, I'm just curious.
  8. Hmm, if you are trying on real hardware, maybe try on an emulator. Or vice versa, maybe it will help narrow it down. Sorry not much real help, just busy work until you get a good answer. : D
  9. Hopefully not too off topic, please ignore/report if so, but in high school we had apple ][s, and they had beagle brothers development tools, I guess oriented around BASIC. At first I was skeptical, but they were pretty cool. It was my first introduction to such things.
  10. Personally I never liked the assembler/editor cart. Even Atari Macro Assembler is leagues better than it in terms of generating an executable. The cart might be great for testing small blocks of code, but too user unfriendly for me even for that. Just IMHO.
  11. When connecting a device to the expansion bus, sometimes you need to press real real hard! Which is good, because you know it's situated nicely and the connections solid. I thought I had an issue with a device, but it wasn't pushed in all the way.
  12. Perfect! Thanks. I modified it to be even more simple and will just list all files, thanks! 32000 DIM A$(40) 32010 CLOSE #3 32020 TRAP 32050 32030 OPEN #3,6,128,"D:*.*" 32040 INPUT #3,A$:PRINT A$:GOTO 32040 32050 CLOSE #3 32060 END
  13. Is there a minimal basic program already common that just simply lists the files? Right now I use the Antic Magazine Menu program, but it is a little much to just list the directory as it formats the output and allows you to choose a program to run, I would just like it to list the files.
  14. Yes, I think I saw it on a PS1 Atari Collection Game Easter Egg/Unlockable. A bunch of great videos. You are correct, I think part of the story was they never implemented it and were just joking about the marketing folks. Ironically I like the sound of it! But can't imagine any viable game. lol
  15. Update on my situation. Thankfully, someone posted this: https://old.reddit.com/r/AnaloguePocket/comments/16txv5j/game_boy_carts_only_work_when_inserted_99_of_the/ So I fully inserted my cart, then nudged it back out a millimeter or two, and now it works! @VideoMaybe you will have same luck with VR troopers with this "trick."
  16. Reminds me of a documentary on Atari 2600 development. They said marketing would send the programmers a list of games and/or titles they think would be popular. And "Rockfight" was always on the list somewhere. lol
  17. Heck yeah, that is a steal imo. Plus with everything there and all those carts. Well done.
  18. Oh man! Awesome! Congratulations! I stopped trying my local ones, seems they haven't had anything in ages. And I understand not wanting to disclose how much, but maybe a ballpark. Or if it was more or less $ if it was on ebay. Which brings up how much would it sell on ebay? 2 or 3 hundred? I'm thinking maybe more, maybe much more. Sorry, I'm talking U.S. $, I'm not familiar with Canadian.
  19. Hi, I don't get notifications for new posts in this thread. I only did the initial setup directed by analogue.
