  1. Thanks! Thats kind of what I figured from looking at it, and never really hearing much about them.
  2. Does anyone know if the Aquarius Home Computer system is rare or not. I saw one at a thrift store for $10, and was thinking about going back to get it. Thanks
  3. You like "The Crucible". And the picture is as joeybastard stated. The 1692 hanging of Bridget Bishop.
  4. Thanks for the info. It works great, and it was only $15, so I'm happy anyways.
  5. I just bought a SNES from Goodwill the other day, and except for the middle section, it has really yellowed over the years. Does anyone know how to clean it and make it new, or is it a permanent thing. Thanks.
  6. I built something like that a couple of years ago. You can check out pictures here: http://www.uwec.edu/pbl/5200.htm The wiring is pretty messy, but it's not too hard to build.
  7. Sure, get my hopes up, and then I realize it's April Fools day.
  8. Do you think he can sell me a colecovision multi-cart if I ask him to? I've been wanting one of those for some time.
  9. Here's a little on xbox 2. http://www.gamerfeed.com/index.php?story=1491
  10. Metroid Prime is my favorite. I've heard that Star Wars Rouge Leader is also one of the best games for GC.
  11. My favorite games for the 5200 are: Space invaders Montezuma's Revenge Joust
  12. SMS is awesome. The Rambo game without the gun can be really cool. I've never played Montezuma's revenge on the SMS, but it's one of the coolest games on the 5200. I really like the 3d glasses that you can get for the system. It's a really unique accesory. I recently found power strike at a thrift store for $2, so I was pretty happy about that.
  13. I've got an atari 2600,5200,7800,jaguar, sega master system, genesis, saturn, dreamcast, magnavox oddysey2, NES, XBOX, Gamecube, intellivision, colecovison, c64, and an astrocade. and som pong systems on the side.
  14. I hope it's kind of like the original arcade version. Speaking of that, I think it's time for a remake of the Simpson's arcade game. Nothing like a punch and jump combination game. Then again, they could make it like the first NES turtles game, and no one will ever be able to get past the 3rd level. Damn it!!!
  15. You could always check the power supply, from my experience, that can be a problem sometime. My springs are broke on my heavy sixer too, but it doesn't really interfere with the system at all.
  16. Does anyone know if wal-mart or any store like that sells this product, or are they only for sale online? I thought it would be kind of cool for traveling.
  17. Thanks. I didn't think they would work. I've never used a TI computer yet, so that explains it.
  18. This is kind of cool, I guess infogrames had to have something to do with this. It's kind of like the activision one. I like how they kept the old joystick style. I don't know how well breakout would work, but whatever.
  19. Does anyone recognize these controllers? The two joysticks are connected, so there is only one 9pin connector for the 2 of them. Will these work for the 2600, or is it for some other system. Thanks !!!
  20. I was going to buy the game, but I ended up getting a gamecube and metroid. It's still one of those things I really want though, and I know it's going to happen sooner or later.
  21. His Ms. Pac man table works great, but the pac man one does not. He said he'd be getting a new board for it soon. I thought it'd be kind of rude to ask for anything, but he gave me one of his pacman mugs. It's a hologram one, where pacman moves when you turn the cup. I thought it was pretty cool. I'd like to read some of those old replay mags though. Maybe next time.
  22. My girlfriend's grandpa took us out to dinner the other night. After dinner, we stopped back at his place and he wanted to show us something in the basement. I was pretty surprised to see tons of promotional arcade stuff. I knew he used to work for Bally Midway, but I didn't know he saved so much stuff. He had stacks of Replay magazines from the last 20 years (I think they are magazines to promote the latest arcade and entertainment machines, lots of Atari and bally mugs, buttons, and flyers, and a ton of promo posters for pinball machines and arcade machines. He had a couple of cocktail arcades, but he said those are just a few of hundreds he's gotten rid of over the years. That kind of made my stomach drop. I could have probably spent days down there, but my girlfriend thought I was crazy for being so amazed by his "mess". I just thought I'd share and see if anyone else has stumbled upon a hidden treasure.
  23. Thank you. Adult Swim is the best thing that happened to Sunday Night in a long time.
  24. I've also noticed that if you get eaten right as the toy goes over a power pellet, the power pellet will stay, and you can't eat it or finish the level. :-(
  25. I got my saturn for $20!! I'm pretty happy with it so far. If anyone wants one I think they have 2 or 3 more for the same price. It comes with the hookups and 1 controller.
