I'm not sure whether CJ was calling himself a silly sausage or me, but yes, this game is one of my favorite things on the Jaguar, it's worth hunting down if you can snag one.

To be fair, when these are usually opened up to be put on sale, they are manufactured to meet demand at the time with some left over. I was able to get on the second print run, even late and still get a copy. The people buying multiples to put on sale later are at least offering copies back to the collectors and the producers at the time are making more than they would have.

I would just like to say I'm still psyched to hear what games PiKo is announcing!

I'm not saying Iceman is this way, but sometimes it does feel like people think things should be produced indefinitely or at least until theyre done being interested in it. I assume unless it hits AtariAge store, chances are there's a run and then done.

I've already got an unmodded 2600 if I want an original experience, I was hyped for the Retron77 just to have a clean, compact way to play my carts on a modern TV, which looks to be what I'm getting. Cools, thank you guys for thinking of older Atari systems, I know the "retro boom" seems to be focused on NES & later.

Yeah, one of the reasons I collect for Jaguar is I am almost certain this is the end of the road for a handful of these games. No collection packs, digital rereleases and definitely no resurrections of unfinished Jag games on new Atari consoles.

What is even happening here? Have I wandered too far into the swamp?

Just pre-ordered mine. = ) Being that the only way I have to play my 2600 carts right now is on a flat screen through RF on my console, this should be fun.

If I buy one it'll be the Int'l version, but I can't imagine the situation I would use it instead of the original hardware or pull out my Switch which I've bought a handful of 'Geo titles on digitially. It's interesting now that Ghost Pilots is getting released when it had never made compilations or digital releases before. It keeps me thinking what Neo Geo titles will never be re-released off of MVS / AES or NGCD.

Of the ones I've chosen to pick up, my favorites would probably be Night Trap, Ruiner, Shantae: Risky's Revenge, Shantae and the Pirate's Curse & The Metronomicon: Slay the Dance Floor.

Whether or not one of the releases is Impossamole, I'm not sure I understand the hate either. I've never played it before, but looking up clips of it, I can't see why it wouldn't be a welcome addition to the system.. afraid it's gonna take time away from Supercross 3D or Checkered Flag? (Sorry bad Jag games, you know I love you, kind of.)
