  1. Gettin' excited for PRGE this weekend, I'll be prowlin' around the floor lookin' for Jaguar stuff, I remembered you said you might be there with a few carts, still plan on makin' it to the expo this year?
  2. The Jaguar is ramping up lately with all these projects, awesome! Love the look of Odd-it Will Be Watching as well, I'll be keepin' a lookout for updates. = )
  3. Random update from me: Giving a friend my copy of 3 Count Bout from my AES this year at a local retro expo, he's into collecting wrestling games and I'm just not a huge fan of the button mashing / controller waggling when I'm almost always playing against AI. I've not added anything to the collection in quite a while but still have my eye out for Xeno Crisis and a possible Kraut Buster pre-order.
  4. Been tinkering with the car for a bit, love the visuals, the headlights and lighting changes look great. Not sure how I'm getting it to do certain things, but I've gotten the camera angle to change towards the hood of the car. With those radio stations and changing the paint job black, I'm thinking Death Proof, which is awesome.. also.. I'm not sure where that sample is from, but is that radio station named Clam Slam? It's all I can hear Lol .. This is giving me some sorta modern true crime / horror vibe, which is interesting, 'cause it made me realize there's hardly anything like that in gaming.. maybe Manhunt? Awesome demo!
  5. Jaguar community has yet to reach Neo Geo AES standards.. my carts have insertion marks. = (
  6. Awesome to see you can pre-order the controllers now, I'll be able to toss my order on the pile in about 2 weeks, all my extra gaming funds are currently tapped for PRGE! Thanks for going through this process, I'm sure it's much appreciated by all still on board with Jaguar.
  7. I keep all my boxes on the shelf in protectors like a queen and all the carts from them in a bin without end labels like a monster. It's the easiest way for me to not add even more stuff while keeping things playable.
  8. Hey, thanks for the well put together post, I personally both collect for and play my Jaguar and would love to see your idea brought to the console. When you ask if I care about a game because it's on the Jaguar and not if it was on another platform, I do that quite often. There's a good handful of these games I've picked up just because they're on my favorite console to collect for, so in the end, it does open me up to playing a few titles I may not have otherwise. I suppose it's just how I enjoy going about my hobby.
  9. As long as it's glowy, love the glows. One of these times when I fire it up, I might actually see it for myself.
  10. One of these days when I'm not lazy I'll actually fire up Tempest with mine I picked up from the first batch. Official shelf queen status.
  11. Never played It Came from the Desert but it's seemed interesting to me, hopefully Defender does well enough to consider this a possibility.
  12. Speaking of Retro-bit, I just got their official NES release of Holy Diver in the mail, if they do up a few AES reprints, that'd be cools by me.
  13. I think the only other two boxes that don't follow the typical black box with color have been Fernandez Must Die (still looks awesome, by the way) and Spike In Transylvania, though Spike is harder to tell as it's dark purple. This bright yellow definitely stands out on Dizzy and looks good.
  14. Other than what's been mentioned, Laser Lords. All about that Laser Lords, so quirky.
  15. It sounds like Saturn's got mine two or three times over, lemme know when ya update your collection pics or video, would like to see it. Edit: Just went through 2014 pics, that's a helluva thing right there.
  16. A bit unrelated, I know, but whoa.. I just discovered this game and found Piko holds the rights to it. I know a Jaguar release is probably out of the question, but have you considered selling Gurume Sentai Barayarō on the Piko site?
  17. That Ghost Manor / Spike's Peak double ender cart is one of my favorite things on the 2600. Also, although it's not a horror game, that dragon from Dragonfire seemed to creep me out when I was younger.
  18. Yeah, as a business I can't see resurrecting anything with Neo Geo hardware other than their mini to be effective these days. The Neo Geo AES originally was to bring top shelf gaming home, nowadays it can be done in much easier methods as home / PC gaming has long surpassed what the glory of the arcades used to be. If they wanted to develop and release another AES title for their long standing fans, much like NG:DEV has continued to do, I could see that winning them more favor, but it wouldn't keep their business afloat.
  19. Is anyone else able to log into NG:DEV Direct? I tried a few times and changed passwords, still can't log in. Was just going to check up on Fast Striker.
  20. Awesome man. = ) Also, keeping an eye out for these next titles up for the Jag.
  21. A bit random, but I was thinking it's strange Zed Blade was reviewed in a GamePro magazine when it felt like they usually reviewed AES carts for the home console. I wonder if Zed Blade was going to release as AES and cancelled at the last moment or if they just reviewed the arcade game?
  22. *crosses fingers for a certain.. grasshopper thing named Venus*
