I prefer the glitch. I am the end stage where I am leveling up and have no need for gold. I am at the last town gaining experience points and if I die I end up back at the town. If I ended up back at the castle I would have to trudge through all that land to get back.

I completed the whole map, it said I came home from the war, and then the screen blipped. Is that the end of the game?

Cartridge on the original Intellivision.

Something new for me, first two swings were home runs. Third swing is a miss and sounds go hanky. The pitching sound is now a loud hum and the crowd noise is muffled between innings. After an inning or two of this, I hit a ball towards the first base line where it sprouts what looks like wings. The game freezes. I restart and its 0-0 bottom of ninth, first pitch I homer and end the game.

Upper left corner, you walk through it. I did test it out with a less than full team and it did not work.

I’ve been playing more Intellivision due to new releases but this was the game back in the day. It is still worth a look. What is the worst nuisance monster for you (bat, blob, spider)? It’s the spider for me because at the hardest level I am always short on arrows. How many people found the warp on the map back then? It was probably the first Easter egg for me, that or the initials in Swords and Serpents. The game appeared in two versions in catalogs before its release. Both appear to be artists rendering with the second one similar to the first, which is so different from the released version. Has any programming similar to the first ever been discovered?

Let’s remember it was a poorly reviewed game when it came out back in the day but the Atari had so many more third party games that you wanted a lot of those games out on Intellivision.
