  1. What did you have to do to get the beta??

You had to sign up for it at CharlieOscarDelta.com nearly two months ago, pre-order the Xbox 360 version from Gamestop, or some other methods I never looked into. Although, the beta ended shortly after Halo 3 came out, so its rather moot at this point.

  2. It was sold in stores for about $5, there were three different discs like this, the best part of the discs was that they had downloadable content on them so if you couldn't get Xbox Live you could still get some of the content by buying these demo discs.

The chance of finding anyone other than a completest willing to buy the disc from you is pretty slim.

  3. That list was really poor, Far Cry and Generals underrated? Both are overrated.

There's a lot of games I'd like to say are underrated like Shenmue, Ico, and the like,; but the huge cult following for those gives them more notice than those I feel I really should list like:

    Original War on PC

    The Red Star on PS2

    Gungrave on PS2

    Metal Arms on PS2/Xbox/Gamecube

    Startropics on NES

    GI Joe on NES

I dislike the fact that my list is overly "newer" titles, but I'm having trouble remembering any older games that I feel no one seems to care about even though they are excellent.

  4. PC:

    Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War

    Command & Conquer 3

    Dreamfall: The Longest Journey

    Xbox 360:

    Bioshock

    Lost Planet: Extreme Conditions

    Crackdown

Wartech: Senko no Ronde (Beat story mode with every character)

    Transformers the Game

    Xbox:

    Black

    Conker Live & Reloaded

Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge

Prince of Persia the Sands of Time

    Indigo Prophecy

    The Suffering: Ties that Bind

    Gamecube:

    Metroid Prime

    Geist

    Resident Evil

    Resident Evil 0

    Playstation 2:

    God of War II

    Killzone

    Ico

    Shadow of the Colossus

    Dreamcast:

    Resident Evil 3

    Gameboy Advance:

    Tales of Phantasia

  5. I bought it for $30 a few weeks ago, and I love it. Its not worth the original $60 price tag, but at $30 its a great deal. The game is best described as a shump crossed with Virtual On, so its not for everyone.

  6. how long do i have to play it before i can feel safe from the red ring of death?

i keep a fan blowing on it when i play, plus i don't play longer the 2 hours in one sitting...

Mine's hasn't given me any problems in the ten months I've had it, with some gaming sessions lasting well over 4 hours.

A little advice to help keep it running smoothly is to have it horizontally, otherwise you have a vent directly facing a surface.

  7. I'm somewhat of an achievement whore. I like the sense of well, achievement they give. And really I feel that they really add to the replay value and give added motivation to complete a game.

Although, I tend to hate the online only achievements since they tend to ruin team games, many players are more worried about getting a certain achievement and get mad if any player does anything that may help the team win, but hurts their attempts to get the achievement.
