    Calibration on an older light gun has more to do with the screen and the software than it does the gun. My Light Phaser fires a little to the lower right when I use it with my 7800.

     

    So then if I plugged in any light phaser then it would be exactly the same? It's literally 2 inches off to the right. Is there not any way to calibrate the gun?

    So I got a Light Phaser for my Master System but it is about 2 inches off to the right when I fire. I got the sucker open and am looking at it's guts but can't seem to figure out a way to calibrate this sucker. If anybody has any advice then I would appriciate it. I also thought that it was cool that they put two big weights in the handle.

    Shortly after getting my Wii system, I purchased the charger by Nyko. Worked pretty well for a couple months and then both batteries went to hell and would only hold a charge for 30min to an hour (depending on whether I had the Nunchuk plugged in or not).

     

    I also got the Nyko charger and the batteries only lasted me about 5 months before going completely dead. Do not buy the Nyko charger. I have seen an Energizer charger for the Wii that I thought about trying since they are a company that specializes in batteries.

    Cool about the lighthouse.

     

    Could someone re-open Goobvill? I saw it was open and when I came back with the kitten, Cookie had closed the gate. Darn it!

    Do you know if the Mr. has a kitten that needs returned? I still have that darn cat roaming my town looking for it's lost kitten.

    By your score you haven't made it far enough. The game goes:

     

    Level 1: Barrels, Rivets

     

    Level 2: Barrels, Elevators, Rivets

     

    Level 3: Barrels, Pie Factory, Elevators, and I assume Rivets - I keep getting killed on this Elevator level. I just found this today, scroll down to "Beat Donkey Kong" and it has a nice diagram on how to conquer the Elevator level.

     

    You are correct, and then

    level 4: Barrels, Pie Factory, Barrels, Elevators, Rivits

    level 5: Barrels, Pie Factory, Barrels, Elevators, Barrels, Rivits

    Every level after 5 is the same

    Sorry to say, but I've pretty much lost interest in City Folk. As I said previously, I loved the GC version (especially collecting NES games) but couldn't get into Wild World at all.

     

    I decided to give City Folk a chance and while it seemed sort of fun the first couple of weeks, it also felt way too much like just a rehash with nothing added to gameplay except a few more fossils, pieces of furniture, and fish. Then I'm doing another "Fruit Harvest"... you know, the one that takes an hour or more to perform every 3rd day, 16 pieces at a time..... to raise money and said to myself "There has got to be more to life than this!" And I haven't fired the game back up since.

     

    Maybe eventually, one day, I'll get back into it. But for right now I have no interest in harvesting fruit and delivering rugs for my lazy neighbors.

    Animal Crossing isn't really a game that is supposed to be played for long periods of time everyday. Usually you just pop it in and see what is new in the town. Go check out Nooks, Able Sisters, look for fossils, check out the city, go fishing, or see if your friends are online. Part of the fun is getting online with your friends and just hanging out. I usually only play for about 1 hour a day unless if I feel like making tons of bells or if I'm online with my friends. The cool thing is that everyday there is something new so the game keeps it's replay value for a long time.

    I will be opening Omaha's gate in a few minutes. It will stay open until the Colts game starts @ 7pm! :)

     

    Correction (5:26pm CST): I couldn't get on to Nintendo WFC, so gate is not open at this time.

     

    Shannon (Goober) - why don't you send me a PM and let me know when you or Cookie will be playing and I"ll make sure to open the gate so you can get rid of the TrojanKitten Virus. :)

    It appears that there is a cat in my town that lost a kitten in Mr.MegaManFans town.

     

    I doubt that Katie and her mommy will be reunited in this case. MMF paid off his final mortgage yesterday and time traveled back to the present in his game. I don't think he has a lost kitten in his town, but I'll ask him a little later.

     

    And by the way, when do I get a silver axe?!?!? :P

     

    So that means that I might be stuck with an orange cat roaming my town. You will get a silver axe once I get some more. I've only gotten 2 so far and one of them is for me. You could always borrow the Mr's if you really need one.

    The barrel stage skip bug effects Crazy Kong, not Donkey Kong.

     

    How to do it in CK - Climb up the first ladder. take one step to the right, then jump off to the right, you'll bounce off the side of the playfield and fall through the floor and the level ends with Kong grabing the woman and climbs up to the next stage.

    That was the first thing I thought of (crazy kong) but I thought maybe he knew something I didn't... hehe

    Haha, I'm retarded. Now I'm getting Crazy Kong mixed up with DK.

    ended the game, once again, on the top ladder on the elevator level.. can't seem to find the right pattern for the springs.

     

    To get past the springs you have to run to the left of the ladder when a spring hits the ground just left of the ladder. Then wait for a spring to hit dead center of the yellow elevator block and as it goes over your head run right and dash up the ladder.

    Climbing a ladder and having one hand resting on the deck above reduces the chance of a barrel coming down the ladder. But, this mightn't be the case on later ROM sets.

     

    This is one of the bugs that was removed in US set 2. In my opinion it is breaking one of the rules of this HSC which is not to use bugs to your advantage. That is why US set 2 is the ROM set that should be used. It also takes out the bug that alows you to skip the barrel stage.
