  1. One doesn't "choose" to go to a show, then complain about the people appearing for performing their acts. If he was up on stage doing a performance then that is one thing. If your just walking around in a crowd acting like an idiot then that's completely different. I'm pretty sure that he wasn't the main event at the show, he probably just went to get more exposure. If I went to the show and did the same thing, but held up a sign advertising that I was the Angry Movie Nerd would that make it right? I'm sure that most of the parents didn't even know that he was going to be there or even who he is.
  2. Damn right, I agree with you 100%. I don't hate the PS3 or the 360 but if I would go in those forums with a constant barage of negative remarks then I would expect to get negative remarks right back. Do you think that somebody that came to these forums bashing the 2600 would't expect a backlash? If your gonna constantly troll a forum then your gonna get it right back. I honestly don't see why the Wii is so hated. Did it punch your mom in the face? It's a good console that has good games. Just because it doesn't have all of your favorite games doesn't make it a piece of shit. Can anybody on here honestly tell me that there are no games on the Wii that they find to be fun?
  3. It goes directly to the sega name. I wa reading about that wher you could play anything on it. What were some of the unlicensed games? I don't think the license lockout enforces any regions. If the game doesn't care, then neither does Sega. Sega only wanted to block unlicensed developers. Region controls are performed by individual game programs, and I'm pretty sure they can detect the region of any console. What the early model Genesis lets you do differently is run unlicensed games, not necessarily out of region ones. Out of region (but licensed) should work on any console if the game wasn't programmed to block it. Some unlicensed games I'm aware of are Zany Golf and Budokan (both EA games), but I think Accolade had some as well. When the Genesis/Megadrive first came out none of the games were region locked. After awile they started including the region lockouts in the games. The early Genesis didn't have the hardware in it to detect the region lockouts so it could play any regions games. It also will let you play the unlicensed ones.
  4. Whether if he was in character or not, if there are kids around you need to watch what you say. I'm sure he was in a public place where anybody could have gone to. If he was at an auditorium where people have to get tickets to go see him then that would be a different story.
  5. Yes I mean Mega Drive games. You can get an A/V cable from the internet. Ebay usually has plenty of them just make sure that it is for a model 1 Genesis and not model 2.
  6. I don't know but you can also play games from other regions.
  7. Yeah, it's probably the fact that he got this sudden internet fame and he doesn't know how to handle it in the real world. He probably trys to put on a show when out in public to keep his fans entertained. I have heard a couple radio interviews with him and he acted like a normal guy. Either way I'll continue watching his shows and laughing my ass off.
  8. I think his stuff is funny and never miss an episode, but still find that hilarious. If he was acting stupid in front of a bunch of kids then he deserved it. It's great to do your act on the internet but when you have children around then you need to tone it down. Those kids look up to him and that is definitely not a good example to be setting. I wish I could have seen that.
  9. That's a great deal. You got one of the first released Genesis consoles that do not have the region lockout. When you turn it on if it doesn't say "Produced by or under license from SEGA" before the SEGA screen then you can play games from all regions on it.
  10. If I remember correctly there is a menu that lets you change how often your AI characters use MP and items. It's extremely helpful with items because the AI will blow through them if you don't change the setting.
  11. Welcome to AtariAge MaximumRD, glad to see you on the forums. You might recognize me as one of your subscribers and have posted a few comments on your videos. Good job on the reviews so far.
  12. I use the Wii with WiFi to watch videos on YouTube and I have no problems with it. It is slightly slower then my PC but that's expected with WiFi. I'm also in Alaska and have a crappy internet connection but still find it to be fairly quick compared to my PC.
  13. NOTE: THIS WEEKS GAME HAS ENDED! TUTANKHAM Game Info Tutankham is an arcade action game played from a top down point of view. You are an explorer in King Tut's tomb on a mission to retrieve as many of the valuable treasures as you can find. In addition to the treasures, you will also find a key in each of the chambers. This is needed in order to unlock the entrance to the next, more difficult chamber. Be careful, for the tomb is guarded by many dangerous creatures! Cobras, bats, scorpions, and more all appear in the maze and will cause you to lose a life if you're caught! To defend yourself you are armed with a laser gun which you can fire left or right, but not up or down. In each of the mazes you are also give one "flash" which can be used to destroy all creatures currently on the screen. -This game was suggested by: theking21083 -Skill level: 1 HSC Info -Post your scores in this thread and every couple of days I will update the leaderboard. -The cutoff for posting scores will be the second Wednesday after the competition begins, at 1:00 A.M. 14. This weeks game has ended. Thank you for your participation.
  15. Not true, you could add more spot generators to the carts and other things as supercat has already pointed out Im sure that if you spent enough time on it, you could generate people like shapes. I still wouldn't call that promising.
  16. Yeah but basicly all you can do with the Odyssey is tweak it to make some minor differences. You really can't be too inovative with it. Maybe somebody could make some different ball games but in the end it's all the same thing. Just like the different versions of Pong.
  17. I'm sure you are just joking, but Odyssey had no potential seeing as all of the games were built in and you couldn't expand on it.
  18. it's a total hack job but hrecker and i love this game so much that we don't care. wish it had the trackball though. we r working on it As long as it works then that's all that matters.
  19. Very nice. I noticed that you have a Nintendo VS. Unisystem control panel on your Rampart Cabaret that was a converted Pac-man. It's got all sorts of assorted parts.
