I got an e-mail from a person saying that he has "last copy combat 2" cartridges for sale. Anybody else get one of these e-mails?

I'll side with Pitfall Harry on this one. I am greatly pained that my plans to attend the CGE fell through, but I would rather be forced to teach 'atari70s' how to use his keyboard than open it up to the eBay pirates. I will be actively looking for after-market remakes, and lamenting my own loss.

So it looks as if the answer is: "They found them years ago and are now selling them". I imagine that with the new interest in collecting and the message-spreading powers of the internet, the pockets of old new-stock are just about dried up now. A new find of a cache of titles would now be a rare thing. I know that the area I am in is dried up pretty good now. I get a cart or two at a time at the local Goodwill, and that's about it. Yard sales are a tremendous waste of time and gas for me anymore, I haven't found a single game at any of the yard sales I've been to this year. Thanks anyway guys.

I have seen several New In Box games that aren't the O'Shay's stock. I am talking pitfall, pitfall 2, berzerk, circus atari and a few others. Has somebody come across old-stock and are now selling them online? If so, can somebody let me in on the secret? I would like to expand my collection, but the prices the new collectors on eBay are willing to pay are a bit out of my league. Thanks.

Check the 3/4 switch. A have gotten several "parts only" consoles that had channel 4 selected. If you get anything at all when you turn the unit on, it's the 3/4 switch. 4 switch units have it on the back near the difficulty switches. 6 switch consoles have it tucked up inside, you get at it from underneath with a screwdriver or spoon handle.

Where can I find one of these? I have seen one in eBay but there was a suspicious lack of bids.(like the lack of bids on the MIB games available at Oshea's) Are these mugs old-new stock or is somebody making them now, and where can I get one?

I have noticed that the picture on the front of the 4-switch Atari box shows the four switch unit with the heavy sides. I assumed that the heavy sided lower case was an early 6-switch case, and was later switched to the light sided case for the 6-switch to make production cheaper. Is there such an animal as the "heavy-4er" as pictured on the box, or did Atari just airbrush over two of the switches on the original "heavy 6er" picture?
