Plenty of love. Usually I just keep it to the US but I sell to Canada if the bidder contacts me first and pays via paypal. If you are interested in anything just let me know it's you bidding. -
Gameboy SP, Boxed SNES, CIB GBC & SNES Games, NGPC
heavy-sixer replied to heavy-sixer's topic in Auction Central
Thanks, the games are the nicest part of that lot. The GBC is just thrown in because it will be useless without the games. However, like I said in the auction, the GBC works fine and would make a great beater unit -- something you don't have to be too careful with. Thanks for looking. -

My Colecovision w/AV, Jag, & Lynx Auctions
heavy-sixer replied to heavy-sixer's topic in Auction Central
Thanks to everyone who looked at and/or bid on my auctions. I've received payments for most of the stuff. The only auction I thought would do better was the Colecovision/Adam one. If anyone backs out I'll be sure to post here first before I relist. I will probably be listing more stuff this week. Thanks again. -
My Colecovision w/AV, Jag, & Lynx Auctions
heavy-sixer replied to heavy-sixer's topic in Auction Central
I can't say I blame you. That's why I'm selling and not buying That and the fact that if I haven't opened by now, I probably never will and hopefully, if I want to play those titles, I'll be able to download them onto my Revolution once it is released (I can't bring myself to saying Wii). -
My Colecovision w/AV, Jag, & Lynx Auctions
heavy-sixer replied to heavy-sixer's topic in Auction Central
You don't have to worry about the BIN anymore. Somebody just bid the minimum so you may get it for less than I had the BIN set for. I don't know about those BINs. Out of 14 auctions I put up, only 2 went for the BIN. The funny thing is I'm sure some of the auctions will go over what I set the BINs for. Anyway, thanks for looking! Most of the auctions go off tonight between 11 - 12 EST. -

I'm in the process of redoing my basement and I was looking into getting a 50" to 60" DLP TV. However, I started seeing posts on different forums around the net talking about video lag problems with PS2s, Gamecubes, and Xboxes. Most posts/problems seem to involve Samsung & Mitsubishi TVs and date from 2004 through 2005. Anybody out there have problems with their DLP TV in conjunction with gaming? Any recommendations? I don't want to spend a couple grand on a giant TV and not get to enjoy games on it.

I may consider trades for current console games (PS2, Xbox, GameCube, DS or PSP); however, there is nothing in particular that I'm looking for right now. I'd be willing to take a look at trade lists or what have you.

I read it last year, and I really enjoyed it. If you are interested in that kind of stuff (behind the scenes 8-bit non-fiction stuff), I'd recommend: Hackers: Heroes of the Computer Revolution by Steven Levy The Ultimate History of Video Games: From Pong to Pokemon --The Story Behind the Craze That Touched Our Lives and Changed the World by Steven L. FS: N64 Star Wars Racer system w/ games
heavy-sixer replied to heavy-sixer's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
Bump -- $40 + shipping? Any interest out there? -
Anyone interested in a N64 Star Wars Racer system with Roque Squadron & Shadows of the Empire? The only thing that I can't find is the system's instruction manual. It's in good shape and works. It has the expansion pack and the controllers have rumble packs. The whole package weighs in around 8 lbs or so. I'm not certain what to ask for the package so if you are interested send me an offer and I'll consider it.

Has anyone taken advantage of the big TRU sale?
heavy-sixer replied to shining slade's topic in Modern Console Discussion
I picked up Wario Ware, Inc. for Gamecube at TRU But Sam Goody at my local mall had some deals on PS2 Games I couldn't pass up: Gladius for PS2 (sealed) $1.88 Hunter: The Reckoning Wayward (sealed) $1.88 Robin Hood: Defender of the Crown (last copy opened but new) $1.88 I'm kicking myself for not picking up 1080 for the GC for $4.88! I don't know why I turned cheap all of a sudden. -
