Online Atari 2600 Label Maker : Now with Silver Labels
Charlesaway replied to Cropsy's topic in Atari 2600
you didn't say which was which Blade Runner is the bad one. {Double smack} LOL That whole thread was funny. I really like the Bladerunner one, the theatrical poster looks a lot like the actual 80's artwork atari used on the carts. -
Online Atari 2600 Label Maker : Now with Silver Labels
Charlesaway replied to Cropsy's topic in Atari 2600
I saw there were a few fans of bad movies, so here's one. Also, there must be fans of good movies, so here's another. -
What I liked about the article was how they stated that there were 1411 Atari items for sale on the Internet right now. The whole internet.

I've used a vinyl polish/cleaner on the Atari before, as well as on other systems like the NES, Genesis, etc. It's fairly easy to totally avoid the label, unless you're being careless or rushing. It looks like the guy was in a hurry to make the console look nice and clean.

You could always try those dessicant packages. You can buy them on a bunch of sites, like this one: http://www.silicagelpackets.com/ Fairly inexpensive. You can get around 100 for about $15. Or you can buy more... The site even seems to have a $10 off $30 or more purchase using Google Checkout.

SOLD: Intellivision INT'L Demo '82 cart
Charlesaway replied to ataricharles's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
Actually the Charles that started this thread is a great guy, I've known him in person for years and he is one of our Militaries Finest. He normally goes by "Charlesaway" which I have done everything but punch him in the face to try to tell him he needs to change his screen name here to so there is no confusion between the 2 people on this board known as Atari Charles. Hell the Community knows him better as "Charlesaway" anyhow. HEY CHARLES CHANGE YOUR FREAKIN' SCREEN NAME!! Yeah, that's totally my fault. Years ago, I created a forum account here under charlesaway. I guess, I could contact the admins and see if there was a way to recover my nick; I'd much rather be using my standard one anyhow. What makes the matter even funnier is that, until July of this year, I also lived in Canada, like Atari Charles, albeit in Ontario instead of BC. Funny thing though, apparently I've been around longer (at least according to the joined date) on atariage than Atari Charles. Weird. Woo! fixed it!!! I tried an old password one more time. Won't be posting as 'ataricharles' ever again after this sale thread it taken care of. Cheers. -
I currently own these: Gas Hog w/instructions Master Builder w/instructions

Why isn't parker bros spiderman not listed yet? I've seen it on ebay dozens of times in the last year. Just curious...

I believe I have the european version of this game (labeled Spider Fighter International Edition). It has the Activision code EAX-021 on it, copyright 1982. It is not listed in the database yet. The label is nearly identical to the standard Spider Fighter card, except for hte International Edition subtitle and the instructions being in 5 languages on the front of the cart. If the rarity list guy wants a scan of the cart I can get one and email it to him. I would have included it with this email but I do not have any web space. Also, if anybody knows for sure if this is what I have, please tell me. I've been looking everywhere for info on it. Thanks charlesaway
