  1. I got them at a store in the Carousel Mall (in syracuse ny) called Game Craze that sells a bunch of old used games/systems. Mostly nintendo products, some sega as well, and one little shelf of atari games. It's where I bought Tooth Protectors for a dollar before I sold it to, I can't remember who on this forum. Haha. I have a bad memory. Going to a flea market tomorrow, though! Hoping for some cool stuff! - Tom
  2. Haha, yeah, I imagine I just need a new old tv. Not a big deal, just annoying. And don't worry, I don't mind the thread being hijacked, it's actually rather interesting now! - Tom
  3. Man Goes Down! If we're not talking homebrew stuff, pretty much anything by Imagic. Specifically Demon Attack and Dragonfire. I dunno why, exactly. They just look good to me. Haha.
  4. So I picked up an old RCA TV from a garage sale awhile back (it says XL-100 on the front if that matters) and I cannot get the damn thing to display properly. There are too many stupid dials that jiggle all around at times on the front. No matter what I do, either the pink is orange or the green is yellow or yadda yadda, yadda yadda. I'm using my HD tv playing Q*bert on my atari 7800 to compare to playing Q*bert on my 2600 on the RCA. (Both are 2600 Q*berts, if that weren't evident.) This is a pain in my butt. Does anyone know where/what kind of TV I could get for old school atari gaming that WOULDN'T require me to play with color knobs that don't fix the problem? That would be AWESOME. HOORAY. and such. Haha, thanks much for any input. As a related side note, what kind of TV or monitor do YOU play atari on? Probably been asked before, but I'm curious and I like hearing what people have to say. Thanks! - Tom
  5. @Zoyx - I can't get your links to work. Mine is manufactured for Atari, Inc. by TRW Electronic Components company in Taiwan S# 81297965 It has the A & B channel select, no speaker slots.
  6. One of my favorite Atari games of all time. GREAT to hear that Alex is alive and kicking somewhere! I was worried! Hooray! - Tom

  9. Well even $25 doesn't seem too terrible. Maybe I'll start looking around for one in a week or so. I'm moving into an apartment in May, so spending money on Atari stuff seems silly. Huh. I'm gonna do it anyway, though! HA! - Tom
  10. Yep, that's all I want to know. It looks really cool, I think I'd like to try it, but the overlay and manual seem to be fairly necessary. Thanks for any and all help! - Tom
  11. I'm going to a flea market on Sunday. Fingers crossed!
  12. I've got loose carts of Sword of Mana for GBA, Pokemon Stadium (the gold/silver one, is that 2, I think?) for N64 and the Diablo Hellfire CD. PM me an offer, I guess? Haha. - Tom
  13. I have returned from the land of wind and ghosts - which is to say, doing other stuff. I just wanted to pop by and say hi to everyone and post about my latest haul. Just a bunch of commons, but I'm excited because I haven't picked up any Atari games in forever. So today I got (INPO) Fishing Derby Laser Blast Boxing Grand Prix Berzerk (Sears) Outer Space (obv Sears) Target Fun (also obv sears) Casino Star Raiders Backgammon RealSports Football another copy of Q*Bert (mine's label is crap) and 3 7800 games, Galaga, Karateka and One-On-One. Good to be back! I missed this. - Tom
  14. In complete working condition. Thanks!
  15. I'm looking for manuals/maps/etc. for old Ultima games. Specifically 3 (Exodus) at the moment. That's the game manual, 2 spellbooks and the cloth map. If anyone has them in reasonable condition, let me know. If you have any manuals/maps/accesories from 1-6, also let me know and tell me how much you want for them. Thanks!
  16. Looking to trade for an SNES, working, in good shape, with 2 controllers and hookups. I have to trade a couple things you can pick from, which are as follows: An original front loader NES with 2 controllers and hookups An Atari 5200 with 2 controllers and hookups If either of these seem a good trade to you, please let me know. Thanks. EDIT: Meant to post this in wanted. Sorry. If a mod could move it, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!
  17. Probably because it's boxed everything in pretty nice shape? I dunno, seems a lot to me. Haha. I wish I could sell my stuff for that much I could use the money.
  18. 5200 is a 2 port. Make me an offer, if you want. Meh. No money = suck.
  19. Still up for grabs is the mystery Colecovision game....
  20. I have an Atari 5200 2 port system in good shape for sale, with 2 controllers, RF cable and AC adapter. I recently put new flex circuits in the controllers and put foil on the fire, start, reset and pause buttons. It works just fine, no problems I'm aware of. I can throw in a copy of Congo Bongo if anyone REALLY wants... Looking to sell it for about $100 including shipping, or make me a reasonable offer.
