Well, I hope many of us still have many more years to come. I myself am in my early 50's and hope for another 2-4 decades and plan my life accordingly, including holding onto my Atari's and other vintage treasures until someone takes them out of my cold dead hands.

Is someone remaking Bit-3 cards? I could go for that... Otherwise aren't Bit-3's ultra rare and hard to find? I don't see much sense in leaving slot 3 open if most people won't ever use it, except for something like a VBXE or Rapidus. It's too bad something can't be done with slots 1 and 2 as well, but there's no need for more memory with Incognito in slot 0. But I wouldn't mind adding a few extra wires going to the mobo or other cards if that can make the slots usable for something else. After all, I already had to do that with the Incognito and Pokeymax installs.

I already made this choice. I have a 1200XL for VBXE and I'd rather have my two Atari's have different abilities rather than being carbon copies from upgrade abilities standpoint. That way I get the best of both worlds so-to-speak. One with Incognito (4xOS and it's SIDE Loader CF and SDX), Pokeymax Quad + Covox, Sophia 2 and a Dual PIA (DIY) with extra I/O. The other with 32-in-1 OS, MyIDE II CF and SSDX cart w/RTC, Pokeymax + SID, internal Midi and VBXE and possibly Rapidus. Then I have reasons for using both and doing different things with both.

I don't know if I just didn't notice before, and if it's wrong data coming from OpenWeather or an issue with the Weather program, but right now it is 12:13 pm where I am at but program says it's 12:13 am! The time zone is right though, showing GMT-6.

Yeah, it's just a pie-in-the-sky idea I said mostly jokingly, I have too many other Atari and Atari related projects on my to-do list already, so I'd probably never get around to it. But yes, I'm aware there's more to it, it was just easier to reference only the CPU. CP/M is little more than a curiosity to me anyway, I probably would never use it much, the Atari already has application/productivity software on it as good or better than most of the old CP/M stuff, from what I understand. CP/M just has the 80-column thing going for it, but I'd rather use The Last Word over the old CP/M Wordstar(I'm familiar with the old MS-DOS version), for example, and it has a very acceptable 80-column software anyway, and eventually I'll have a VBXE, so...I just like to max out all my old computer tech because I can, I'm working on the old hardware about 75% of the time and actually using it about 25% as far as this hobby goes. I rarely use most of the upgrades I do to their full extent, I have more fun installing them and taking pride in my accomplishments and show and tell to friends and colleges who have the same interests.

I guess I'll have to look into replacing the Z80 CPU's in my drives with a pin-compatible upgrade that runs a lot faster to speed up CP/M with them to be on a par or beat Fujinet CP/M emulation!

I know how I'm going to die now at least...with Fujinet and other new devices over recent years that have obsoleted my drives, printers, modems, etc, on an obsolete system as well, I'm going to drown in obsolescence! I still use them all though, right down to my 410 and 1010, so I guess I'm the living epitome of obsolescence too!

I don't know if I should be happy or excited about the CP/M prospect on Fujinet or not! I am still waiting on 3 upgrade boards from tf_hh for my 2 Indus GT's and CA-2001 drives for CP/M ability! They've been delayed for a month too, due to the COVID situation! This project may more or less obsolete my obsolete drives upgraded to run an obsolete system on my obsolete Atari!

Never mind, I found what I need...I think...I have to go through all the files in the .zip, but I'm guessing a patched OS in there.

I started a new thread in this sub-forum asking where I can get the patched OS. I'll go check out the SIO2BT thread, hopefully it's not a huge thread I have to spend a lot of time scouring to find out where to get it... EDIT: Ok, that wasn't too bad, I only had to go to the second page to find the link to the .zip file containing everything. Thanks for the help @DjayBee!

@_The Doctor__ I don't think I've tried to access the free data (that is refresh the Weather program more than a few times a day), I'll check my email to make sure I haven't exceeded their limits, but as I said, I see no difference in the data Weather.atr gives me in the current weather data or forecast. What extra content should I be seeing with an API key? Edit: Ok, I found out on their site what I'm supposed to be getting with the free API account, but nothing has changed in the Weather.atr program, no new data, I still just get the current conditions and forecasts for the next 7 days, just like I got before I got an API key. I did reset my refresh interval from 120 minutes to 20, so I hopefully will get updated information more often now. Maybe that's all this program allows?

Where can I find/download a patched OS for BT?

So, you have to have an U1MB for SIO2BT then? As I have an Incognito, and while it's pretty much the same as U1MB, it does not support plugins, and so even if I have BT enabled on my Incognito 800, there is only default detection for Stereo Pokey and Covox (though even my Pokeymax with Covox uses a different memory address, so it's not detected by Incognito, but it still works with software that supports Covox as long as the option is there to change the memory address)and no way to add a BT plugin and disable or enable BT. Is there another way to activate BT for people without U1MB upgrades? I guess someone else mentioned a patched OS, is this the only other option for non-U!MB users?

Are TNFS servers Atari8.us and stguild-bbs.ddns.net suppose to be still working? Because I just get "error mounting host slots" on both of them. Everything else on my Fujinet and all other TNFS servers listed at fujinet.pl work fine.

Well, I got my Fujinet connected to my Wi-Fi again. The problem had to do with my SSID password. I absolutely, positively know I was entering the right password, I redid it all on my PC just to make sure it wasn't my Wi-Fi, and yes, it still works with the same password. I do have the latest Firmware installed. The full story/explanation is below. What was happening was my Wi-Fi would show up when I scanned for it, but it would be highlighted in red, and it would just simply fail to connect. But, I turned on my smart phone hot-spot and it would show up and when I connected to it, it would work, everything would work through my smartphone SSID. Then I would go to the config screen from the host list screen and I would press S to change SSID, then my regular Wi-Fi SSID would show up highlighted in green again, I would enter my password, it would connect, load up the TNSF host list, but the white Wi-Fi light would go out immediately after and nothing would load on the TNFS host screen including my own SD card (but if I didn't try to connect to Wi-Fi at all, just choose the SKIP option, then at least my SD card would work). I would go back to the config SSID screen, select change SSID, and my Wi-Fi SSID would be highlighted in red again, I would select it and enter the password, but it would fail to connect. I would then select my smart phone SSID, it would connect and highlight in green, and everything worked again. This all started, as I said in the post above, when I inadvertently hit some key or combination of keys when I was in the TNSF host list screen and everything initially crashed. I finally got my regular Wi-Fi to work again completely, as I said at the beginning of this post, and continues to auto-connect too, BUT, I had to remove my security password and make it an open/public Wi-Fi to get it to work right again. I have not tried to reinstall my security and try with a password again at this point. My smartphone Wi-Fi that was working I also had no security password enabled, as I never use it, and just didn't turn on security and enter a password in the first place. I have not tried as of yet to turn on security in either one and enter a password. I live in the middle of nowhere, where I really don't have to worry about anybody using them anyway, as nobody ever comes out there but the USPS, Amazon deliveries and garbage man, so I'm fine not having passwords, but others may not have that option, should this issue come up for someone else when they inadvertently hit some wrong keys on the keyboard, or combination, or if their cat walks on it or something. I can turn on security again, enter a password, and see what happens with Fujinet again, while running the flasher software, if you want me too, @tschak909 . Maybe it will all just work again, or maybe not. But if it does just work again, that's fine, except we'll probably never know what went wrong in the first place through the debugger, so I'm kind of hoping it won't work right again, just to see what the debugger shows. It doesn't seem like, based on what @FreddieBear, has said, that his issue is the same as mine, since his won't boot up at all. At least my Fujinet would still boot up. I hope you can understand my long explanation above @tschak909

This just started happening to me today, except it doesn't work at all, there's no "fine for the session." I was in the config menu (with the TNFS and drives) and I inadvertently pushed something, and it crashed. I shut down and restarted everything and suddenly nothing loaded when I tried to restart, SD card, all other TNFS stuff, all comes back with an SIO or some kin of fail to load error, I forget now as it's been several hours, then Fujinet restarts the initial Wi-Fi detection and my wi-fi host (I forget atm what the official terms are atm, too tired to think.) I'll post all details when I try again tomorrow) shows up in red and will not connect. So then I reinitialize at that screen and re-scan for wi-fi signals, and mine shows up, asks for the password again, and then it does turn green and re-connects, but every time I try to access any TNFS option they fail to load and my wi-fi disconnects and it's back to the wi-fi screen where mine shows up red again, rinse, repeat. I just shut if off for now as I got tired of going through this with no change. I have no idea what button I initially hit on the keyboard to cause this, but I was on my SD card slot at the time. I will try to start over tomorrow going through all the initial process like I did when I first got the Fujinet and more carefully read your reply @tschak909 in post #327 above, I'm just tired right now and can't really concentrate and just don't feel like doing it all now.

Mine could, because I use a very nice RGB2VGA upscaler/converter box which can take either 50/60Hz PAL/NTSC signal and converts it to 60Hz VGA and it works perfectly on-the-fly with absolutely no lag, with my Atari Jaguar that I modified for either 50/60Hz, and would do the same for VBXE with my PAL converted 800, that currently, until I get a replacement Sophia 2 for the dead one I got, I'm using a video2VGA upscaler/converter that does the exact same thing (same brand as RGB converter) for my 50Hz s-video out on my 800. No need for me to change to a VGA core. Though since I will have a Sophia 2 in my 800 eventually, I'll be doing this with a VBXE for my PAL converted 1200XL. I've had no worries about compatible monitors for PAL/NTSC for well over a decade with my upscaler/converters, I just use standard CRT or LCD VGA monitors.

Thanks for the info. I was aware of the SIO2BT since it was announced on AA, but didn't look into it as I was perfectly happy with my 25-year old DIY SIO2RS232 and my PC is always right under the desk my Atari's are on, so I just no real use for it. There's more pride in using something when you build it yourself, especially when it's lasted so long and been such a huge part of my Atari experience. I've added RS232 cards to my last two PC's that didn't have RS232 any longer just to keep using it instead of upgrading to USB or BT. But since it's an included feature in Fujinet, I might as well use it on my other Atari, then I don't have to share my SIO2PC between both anymore.

Nice find! My 800 is/was in similar condition, on the inside; never touched on the inside. (the case was very yellowed and I had to retro-bright it and the keyboard needed repair) and it was a surprise gift from a fellow Atarian. The same early model Atari with CTIA and the levers to remove the top. I also had a similar experience as I also bought a spare 800 mobo w/CPU and CTIA and PSU board off of Ebay just a few months ago, in the same condition. Mobo for $25 and PSU board $15. Another early version, original stickers like yours and all. The motherboard did have the Pokey removed, but I have a couple extras anyway, one from the gifted 800 that I installed a Pokeymax in.

Where might I find such an OS? Or did you not say because such an OS isn't here yet?

I signed up and got my key, successfully entered it, but I don't see any difference at all in the info I get or any new info. What's custom about it for Weather.atr exactly? Maybe I'm trying to soon and have to wait for the 120 minute update? At first it said my key was invalid, then I checked at the site and saw that you had to wait a couple of hours for it to be activated, which I did and it was accepted then...

I hadn't tried swapping disks or BT mode yet myself, but I just did what @DrVenkman said, and mine works, but the first time I tried to switch to BT mode, even though I held it down, it wasn't quite long enough.

I'm not sure if BT is fully functional yet anyway. I thought I read that somewhere in this sub-forum or in one of the videos or guides for Fujinet.

What is the custom weather API key, and how do you set it? I don't mean hitting the C key so you get the cursor, but what input does it require.

I'll be adding an internal 3.5" floppy drive to my 1200XL soon myself, so no surprise to me that you or other's have one. I already use my 1200XL with these upgrades and external devices with my 3.4A PSU with no issues at all: Stereo Pokey, 32-in-1 OS, Dropcheck GTIA PAL board w/crystal, Internal RGB LED lighting, PBI upgrade w/Syscheck 2 XL, MyIDE II and Dropcheck Super SpartaDOS X w/RTC all working fine together. I'll be adding the internal drive, internal MIDI, Dual-PIA board with extra controller out ports and who knows what else in the future, and I'll be attempting to still use the PSU with it all.
