I want that. Bad for the back, though..

I have them in plastic bins that pull out like drawers. They're clear so I can see what I'm looking for.
-
The arcade version may be my favorite game of all time. Across any platform. I even have a Tempest tattoo.
-
No, but I remember the one in Star Trek II: Wrath of Khan. Does that count? I think I found a screenshot:

I like the Sol-20. Gotta love that blue.

Combat (of course) then Space Invaders.

Very nice! -
I was gonna say.. Agreed. I'm always amazed at the new protos that are constantly being found, and things like Birthday Mania.

Her name is a reference to the term 'coxed' which refers to a game cart 'signed' by its original owner (i.e. the kid that actually owned it back in the day), usually across the front of the label. After a search on AA and Google, I realized how obscure the term has become. I'm sure some of our veteran members can explain it in more detail.

"with fingertip command over all keyboard functions for increased play value"

Did anyone bother to track down Carol Cox? I hope not.

What was the first VideoGame magazine you ever bought?

I'm gonna have to ditto the Electronic Games from 1982. That would be my first. Also, I very specifically remember owning BLIP no.1. And other BLIPs. I still have some. I've actually posted scans from them here before. -
This is why I love this hobby. Just when you think there can't possibly be anything out there we haven't found yet, there it is. Awesome.

LOL (I just realized how funny that sounds) I don't have time right now to hook it up, but this is what the title screen looks like:
-
OK, list of actual games on the cart. Forgive me if I make some mistakes, I have a decent NES collection, but I'm not that familiar with Famicom games. Pocket Monster Super Contra (title screen in Japanese) Aladdin III Soccer Duck Hunt (divided up into parts: 1 duck etc.) SMB (Title screen says SMB 2) Galaxian Road Fighter Yie Ar Kung Fu Track & Field Tank A 1990 Lode Runner Adventure Island (title screen in Japanese) So, 13 real games out of 100000 menu entries.

Pics, pics!

I have a light sixer. I picked it up at Savers a few years ago for $6.
-
$15. A bit much for a thrift find for me, but the Xbox/PS look was too cool for me to pass up. By the way "No.1in Quality" is a slight exaggeration; it feels more like #2 in quality if you know what I mean. The light gun broke instantly upon firing it for the first time, but I ended up taking it apart and super gluing some things back together.
-
Yeah, it's a 60 pin. There aren't any built-in games. I've discovered that one of the buttons on the controllers is a rapid-fire. Interesting cart. You can start SMB from any world, and Contra has a separate level/area menu. Track and Field is divided into events as separate games.
-
They actually went to the trouble of putting 100000 menu entries. Alas, there's about 15 games; I'm still going through them.
-
It's cool how it opens..
-
Yup.
-
A pic of the box. "No.1 in quality!"

I picked this up yesterday new in the box at a thrift. Definitely one of my better finds.
