  1. @Stan I hacked to background color to an acceptable blue (doesn't clash with blue maze.) I'll submit it to you first so you can post it if you like it.
  2. Changing that line works great. However, one value gave me an interesting result: the back ground color of each room seems to be random. I can't figure out what's going on, anyway. Fun fun. wacky adventure
  3. This didn't seem to translate to HOM2.
  4. In my day, we beat them against rocks down by the river.
  5. No, not really; been working quite a bit lately, but I've been meaning to put this together for over a year: NES Cleaning Kit I get sick of getting up and trying to find Q-Tips and rubbing alcohol once I sit down and get comfy with my NES and Dr. Mario... and get the blinking screen.
  6. The noisy one has all of those qualities! Really!
  7. I have two different TI-99 power supplies and one of them makes an audible buzz or hum when plugged in (it works.) The other style adaptor does not make any sound. Anyone else experience this?
  8. It would be cool to figure out a way to hack the gray background to blue.
  9. My wife and I got into 2600 Demons to Diamonds recently. Fun two player game! For what it's worth, I still think Halo is damn fun.
  10. I really do have a massive collection of condiment packets here.
  11. That actually sounds like it might work. Make sure you put a piece of paper or cloth between the iron and the label, and use a low setting on the iron. The problem is, if the bubbles or wrinkles are high enough, they might be creased by the iron.
  12. I would be interested in a scan of the manual.
  13. Another graphic hack. advinvad.bin
  14. This is a graphic hack of Ms. Pac-Man. The tables are now turned. msghost.bin
  15. He's back at it: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=3042527622 Just because he sold one, means the "sealed case" they came in had to be thrown away? Why wouldn't he include it in the auction? Notice the misplaced apostrophe in the title. Where exactly were all his items were found "packed away?"
  16. You pretty much summed it up, Stan. I did it with HOM2 carefully hunting and pecking. I'm just amazed I could alter it at all and still make it playable. I really have no idea what I'm doing. I think it could be cool with two people though; figuring out how to 'swing' the tanks around. It gets pretty crazy.
  17. Just tried it on Stella. It's different but still playable.
  18. Here's my first hack. It's Combat with a different playfield. By running your tank into certain parts of the "walls" you'll be "flipped" into a different section. The playfield changes with different game selections. Kind of annoying, but it might be fun with two players. In the airplane games, instead of clouds there is a "fog." I've only tested it in PCAE. Enjoy. Crazy Combat Try game 8! Wacky.
  19. Kaboom! Gap Band - You Dropped A Bomb On Me
  20. I recently picked up the Defender cart for my 800XL (my third 8-bit cart, the first two being Star Raiders and Donkey Kong.) I can't stop playing it! I haven't been this addicted to a game in along time. There's a Defender at my local arcade, and I play every now and then, but nothing like this! What a great port. There's something about using the 2600 joystick with it; like there's a tighter response to the controls or something. I actually like the different sounds. Anyone else like this port as much as I do?
