I just started playing this game and I like it. It reminds me of an early PC game... can't remember the name. Anyone have any strategy tips? Any reason to shoot for helicopters first besides higher points?

I have one too. I noticed if you point it at any bright white light it registers as a hit. I don't understand the scoring myself. Maybe someone has the manual?

I agree, Rob. I wish I had done the same thing. I've been collecting for 10 years now, but I think if I sat down and wrote "memoirs" I could remember most of it. It's worth a try. I can almost remember every cart I had as a kid in the eighties, but my memory is sketchy now...

I just found a Riddle of the Sphinx in the wild, and was excited to play it since it was an Imagic title I didn't have. I pop it in, power on, and it's Demon Attack! I already have Demon Attack. I can see where the screw holes have been torn out of the label. Why would someone do this? Anyone out there have a Demon Attack case with a Sphinx pcb in it?

Quarter suckers: Terminator 2, definitely. I got hooked on House of the Dead for a while. That was an unwise investment in quarters. Damn fun though.

I got an Odyssey^2 a few weeks ago and I couldn't be more pleased with it! I can't stop playing Crypto-logic and Las Vegas Blackjack. The keyboard seems to work perfectly. I'm wondering: has anyone had a problem with keys not working? I had a Timex Sinclair 1000 (with [seemingly] the same kind of keyboard) and the keys kept dying left and right.

I've been playing the 1-player games. They're pretty funny. I have a feeling this would be a fun two-player game though. Any experiences?

How about the Coleco tabletop version. Anyone have this? It actually has 2 screens: the barrels and the fireballs. The sound is deafening though. And the controls are annoyingly sluggish.

Actually it came with Speedway/Spinout/Crypto-Logic and Blackjack with boxes and manuals. It also came with a manual for the console. I also found a Quest for the Rings cart at a thrift, but unfortunately nothing else was in the box.

I'm a proud new owner of an Odyssey 2, but I don't know very much about them. When the unit is turned on without a cart, what is that stuff I see on the screen? It looks like a game, but it's a little different each time I turn it on.
