I love that Combat artwork. Very stylish and altogether different from the standard videogame art thing. I've been thinking about making some boxes for a few of my loose carts (like my comps of SI:A and PM:A) as a design exercise but I've been thinking about a lot of things....Don't feel bad. I've probably been thinking/dreaming about this for about four months. I finally had a weekend to do it.

The cart is flush with the box on all sides.Kinda like a deck of cards. I like it!
Hey! It's MattyXB's avatar!

Very nice box and artwork. Are you going to post the instructions too?Definitely. In fact, I'll make the .EPS/.AI file downloadable from my site for anyone who wants it.

Brazillian Atari 2600 games.I've never seen an example of the boxes. Anyone have scans?

The smallest box size to cart difference of games that I personally own are SNES carts. Is there anything smaller?
-
Looks great. I like the small box size. Funny how most of what you get in a normal cart box is air.I know they do this because the customer feels like he is getting more. Silly marketing people.
I guess the bigger boxes were harder to shoplift.

I recently got an $8 money order from the Post Office, and later realized I didn't need it. I really don't feel like getting a refund. However, I DO need a Basic Programming cart for the 2600. SO... the first person to Private Message me with a Basic Programming CX2620 that they're willing to send me gets the 8 buck M.O. made out to them. Good luck.

The game is 4 inches by 2 inches. The battery slots are 12mm in diameter and are kinda deep.
-
Does anyone know what kind of batteries this takes?
Thanks

Is there currently anyone else doing the same kind of thing as Hozer?

Excellent! Another reason why AtariAge is the best!

I collected comics from 1982-1992 and still have the entire collection (about 2000 books). I just moved and have been digging through them. All those ads you guys have mentioned are there; it's great!
