  1. I missed the live stream, I work during the airtime, does anyone have that updated WIP on them they can upload for me??? BTW, still no dice on Flashback 9 HDMI, I tried reloading the ROM and it still won't work, looks like I'll have to reacquire the Harmony Encore for my 2600 adapter for my 5200, BUMMER! Yet more proof that the Flashback 9 is NOT all it's cracked up to be, no Galagon demo (it didn't work on FB9 either) and now this, both won't work on FB9, that's it!
  2. No dice on Flashback 9 HDMI, I keep getting error message "Oops!" on it I DID upload the NTSC version
  3. I'll do it. I still have one of my controller holders and I used to own SD (and also Robotron) on cart until getting both the ROM and (re-acquiring earlier this year) the Atarimax multicart back in 2018.
  4. I have already bookmarked @edladdin's official site, I will be ordering a Super 78 stick soon (as my sole digital controller with the Super 52 being the sole analog one) and I'll ask him to put me on the waiting list for the Super 52 as well, I just have to get some of my bills (including my monthly rent here at Bishop Park of $625.00) paid up first and have some left over and then I'll get to it, no more "Pain-Line" for me, I'll use the Super 78 with the Redemption 5200 7800 interface while I wait for the Super 52 so I can enjoy Tempest with it!!! I also want to be one of the first to make a review video for my official BIGHMW TV YouTube channel (address in my signature) on my soon-to-be launched new miniseries "The Atari Report" (there are two versions, a 2600 Edition and a 5200 Edition), which uses old early-2000s "ABC World News Tonight" intro music by the great Edd Kalehoff (provided the YT copyright algorhythms don't detect it of course!) in the opening in which I apply myself as the voiceover (I couldn't afford the great Jim Cutler, sorry), but yes I DO want to start a review series on both 2600 games and 5200 games (each on its own playlist) on YouTube!!! I even go out of my way to wear different Atari t-shirts for each of the two, a red one for the 2600 reviews, and a blue one for the 5200 reviews, of course!!! Even my own closing ending, ".....and that's GAME OVER for this edition of The Atari Report so for all of us here at BIGHMW.com World Headquarters, I'm Ray Jackson wishing you Good Gaming and Goodnight."
  5. The reason I was asking about a 7800 version was for the second fire button so I can have digital control of games that need it and also have dual fire buttons for games (like Defender, Stargate, Qix, etc.) that need that secondary fire button.
  6. I used to own 2 of each the 2600/Sega and 7800 controller versions of @Albert's popular Redemption 5200 units but had to sell all but one 7800 interface due to being unemployed until April of last year, and since he no longer makes them (and if he still did I would've just ordered a couple of the 7800 version as 2600 controllers will also work with them knowing that from the past.) but I wondered since that idea is out, if there may be a 7800-controller-compatible version of the ever popular Masterplay Clone that everybody here likes so much, and when it comes to the Masterplay clone, where do I order them from???
  7. I work over at Safeway (I clean the cutting room in the meat department weeknights 7-10 pm) and yes it IS essential so we're definitely on the frontlines, and I am hanging in there or at least trying to. Thanks for the encouragement.
  8. I used to dig BOTH Robotron and Space Dungeon and still have one of the twin controller holders (I sold the other one last year while unemployed but I still have one left) and if they are laid on a flat surface they are great to use in this configuration, of course I would love to get my hands on one of those homemade (3-D printed, in black) 7800 twin stick controllers for my CX24 sticks I own OR maybe one of @edladdin's Super Twin 78s with my last remaining Redemption 5200 7800 unit (and yes I AM still waiting for his 5200 sticks to be ready, I will be one of the first to buy one), but yes I HAVE (back when I was at my prime gaming-shape-wise in 1983-86) cleared level (visited every single room and collected every treasure) after level on Space Dungeon and even had my own little strategy for clearing those pesky corner zappers in most rooms (and yes they will zap you before you know it so watch out for them), and then it was almost more easy after that. I also was good at rolling over the scoreboard (at one million points it goes back to zero) on occasion on SD, I hope to get back to that gaming shape I used to be in mentally, even at my age and diminished mental capacity, as I turned 54 back on Tuesday, and especially with this COVID-19 outbreak still going on and with half of Washington state readying itself for Phase II (of 4) of reopening the economy, and social distancing and masks now the "new norm" that is even now being required in most public places.
  9. THAT is why we call the 5200 "Big Sexy".
  10. Downloaded, that and also Moon Patrol Redux as well.
  11. Where can I buy one, I already posted this on the YouTube video for this: "Myself as well, where can I get one, FINALLY a controller Tempest owners have waited 8 YEARS FOR since Keithen Hayenga finished this masterpiece in 2012 after first working on it way back in 1983!!! This controller is PERFECT for Tempest so to David Alexander, don't worry about the "center point" on Tempest because it is not needed, the others you demo'ed maybe but not Tempest."
  12. Nice setup there, BTW where can I get the ROM for RoboMechnik from, I didn't know about that game. Thanks. BTW I also own a 2-port 5200 and a VCS adapter for her also but currently play my 2600 games (almost 700 of them on ROM) on my Flashback 9 because of its HDMI output, I have plans to re-acquire the Harmony Encore multicart, I sold my original one last year due to unemployment but have now worked at Safeway for over a year now so I can afford to get it back, that will be after I get my Donald Trump $1,200.00 in free money (earlier just 2 weeks ago I reacquired my Atarimax 5200 Ultimate SD multicart) so I am almost finished decorating my new apartment for its WORLD PREMIERE for all of my fans on my official BIGHMW TV YouTube channel (address in my signature) on May 6th, after Gov. Jay Inslee (D - WA) lifts the "Stay At Home, Stay Healthy" order then. ENJOY!!!
  13. I know I haven't played it yet but I should have no problem with controlling it because I own a 7800 version of Redemption 5200 so I have my CX24 (digital) controller ready for it, I prefer it for almost all 5200 games that depend on either 2, 4 or 8-directional control, I only use the CX52 (analog) stick for 360-degree games like Star Raiders, the RealSports games, Pole Position, and a few others.
  14. Time for me to throw my 2 cents into this, yes it is true that no home version will ever be 100% true to the letter to its arcade original, and I have downloaded the current WIP .bin of Galaga, and it looks awesome at that, and far better than the Galaxian port Atari created back in 1982 (and it itself was a great port). And while yes it will be a matter of time before whoever is making this wish for all of us come true, much like Paul @playsoft did for me by coming out with the very-anticipated Yar's Strike so we 5200 owners can have OUR OWN version of Yars' Revenge, 4 years after I (wishingly, knowing there was an A8 port of it already) called for one and that almost 80% of Atarians on my poll wanted too. I am looking forward to seeing the eventually-finished product, but it looks like this current version of Galaga, just needs a couple of small quirks taken care of, one being different waves of enemies as from my playing it, also we need for the player's ship to be captured by the enemy and for the ability to utilize two ships like the arcade, and the most obvious one, is that it needs collision detection, as you never die in it. Then it will be more than playable. Other than those things I feel it is a great port so far.
  15. Myself also, put me on that list also, I'm FULLY GAME ON for an Edladdin 5200 controller too!!!
  16. Some of us noticed it was an A8 file this right away as this was an .xex file as opposed to a .bin file (5200 uses the .bin code not the .xex code) in which you posted previously, I downloaded the right one but thanks for posting both.
  17. NOTE: that was only on the first play, I know that I could've continued on if I wanted to within 10 seconds, but passed on the opportunity. I wanted to work my way through all the zones before earning my way to facing to the Gond, just like in the arcade.
  18. Nah, I've got this 😉. Gond, YOU'RE ASS IS MINE!!! Luther you've got the 2600 version down, I'll take care of the 5200 front.
  19. I wish your son a very speedy recovery, and yes, there is nothing wrong with going outside to do some work. Even with this pandemic as long as you're the only one out there (or within 6 feet of you) you should be fine, after all we DO have lives that sometimes have to be spent out of the house. On the 5200 front, I just played Vanguard for the first time IN YEARS, and got as far as the Bleak Zone, the next to last zone before you face the Gond, buy yes I'll get him eventually. I just have to get back into gaming shape and with this coronavirus outbreak and also that I don't have to go to work until 7:00 tonight, I have more than enough time to do so.
  20. I too, don't like to feel like I'm in a cocoon, but, I understand the necessity to stay at home, but, every once in a while I'll go to the store grab me a drink and drive around town for a 15-minute drive. Nothing wrong with that especially since I am single and since I am the only one in my vehicle. Ahh, the many perks of being single, as a single person for about a year and a half it has kind of liberated me from all sorts of bullshit. But still, when you're around others it's still important to stay that proverbial 6 feet apart, as to not take the chance, you never know.
  21. Yeah but it's a lot better than the alternative, and we grocery store workers are here for you, and also, we need to be protected so we can continue to serve all of you, while cutting down OUR risk of contracting it.
  22. Well it looks like my work over at Safeway is going to incorporate some new COVID-19 procedures for all of us workers, including temperature checks, face masks, and also one-way aisles at all of its stores including here in Port Townsend (store #538), as it has been confirmed that at least 4 workers have died, including 2 at Walmart, one at a Giant store, and one at a Trader Joe's. So yes even we here on the proverbial frontline as grocery workers are going to be better protected as we near the middle of this deadly peak. We will be finding out more details tomorrow but yes, this coronavirus has hit us workers and not just our customers. But IMO, there needs to be better protections for us workers now and there should've been some of them implemented weeks earlier.
