I received mine but am waiting to open it for Christmas. I finally got the package together for my person and I do apologize for the lateness but I have been having massive problems with my old job but I finally got a new job! That actually pays money! so my package is all carefully packed and ready to be shipped tomorrow and should be at it's destination well before Christmas.

I bought the full version for the XBox360 and while it is awesome fun there is a very slight delay from when you press the A button and when the block jumps. The only reason I even noticed the delay was because I played the demo on the PC and the moment you press the space bar the block jumps so the controls are very tight on the PC.

I feel for you Ax and I hope everything works out well and you get your money back. I think your post is great because it alerts people to be a little more diligent in how they interact with people they are selling to. Like this halfwit you are dealing with, both his parents and his wifes it seems failed them as they are clearly slovenly themselves and both being adults you would think they would have realized especially with all the media attention over the years that mold is bad in any form.

Redneck Rampage so long as they don't "Duke Nukem" it. -
I get where CPUWIZ is coming from in fact I picked up on it right away in the pics on the auction. I found this by the way http://www.theatrequip.com.au/flameret.htm and it looks like the term "retarded" is in context.

I keep getting this occasionally when I click the 'View new content' button. www.atariage.com Driver Error There appears to be an error with the database. If you are seeing this page, it means there was a problem communicating with our database. Sometimes this error is temporary and will go away when you refresh the page. Sometimes the error will need to be fixed by an administrator before the site will become accessible again. You can try to refresh the page by clicking here Then when I click on the "here" (see above) to refresh i get a 404 error. That and i'm seeing a large amount of debug info on the bottom of the page. Current browser . Latest version of Firefox Connection: Wireless Computer: Toshiba Satellite Laptop Win 7 32bit 2GB ram AMD Semperon SI-42 Don't know if any of that helps.

Trader Jacks: http://traderjacksfleamarket.net/ Good sized flea market food is ok but not plentiful. Parkig is free but the lot can be confusing to navigate. There were some outdoor vendors selling a good selection of PS2,XBox,NES,N64 and GameBoy games and some systems as well as one vendor who had a small cabinet of Atari 2600 carts (all very common Haunted House,Combat etc..) for $5.00 each But inside the building was the real surprise. There is a vendor in there with a booth simply marked Video and in the back corner up against the wall were large bins of loose carts mostly 2600 games with a small amount of Odyssey 2 and Ti 99/4a carts as well as a heavy sixer (missing the labels on the bottom) but otherwise seemed to be in good shape as well as a load of Gamecubes,PS2's and other newer consoles. My rating ****

This might make a good pinned topic. I got to thinking that since there are these huge flea markets out there why not review them and help our fellow Atariagers find some good stuff. The Flea Markets themselves. Usually the larger ones are open year round despite the weather and often have a large open lot and a large indoor area. Typically but not always the Outside vendors will have the better selection as the vendors inside have a very static and picked over inventory. Rating System: ***** (Always guaranteed to find something worthwhile) **** (Usually will find the Pot-o-Gold at the end of the rainbow) *** (Will sometimes find something of interest) ** (Neither here nor there, no guarantees) * (Picked clean and stagnant no variation from the same sellers every week) If possible post the website (if available) or at least the address so others can find these places.

Whats a fair price for an Atari 7800 system? Really want one now . . .

You may want to get in touch with the golden ax he may have some solutions for you -
Did anyone ask her what the rare games are? Because I did not see any rare games in the pics or description?

I'm sorry, I did it again. I have a bad habit of only skimming the first sentence or two in a paragraph. But so far it looks worlds better than their current site.

1. 5 2. 5 3. 5 4. 3 5. 4 6. 5 7. 5 8. Where is the section for the Atari home computers? The "Visitors","Current Time" and "Guestbook" all seem a bit dated on a commercial website. and the Google Checkout icon is slightly overlapping the border on the bottom box as is the Paypal star burst.

the most shamefull video game ever made?
kroogur replied to timjordan's topic in Classic Console Discussion
I agree with you there. I'm not sure why such minor details are left out on the console versions vs. the PC version. Bethesda is the same way with their ability to mod their games or use commands to achieve different effects in game, you can do that on the PC but not the XBox360/PS3 I'm not sure why because either system is more than strong enough to handle it and there are already keyboards available for both systems so I'm sure a mouse wouldn't be to difficult to have as another optional peripheral. -

Hammer on the NES! I like it! It could have been a platformer and when you use a special move Hammer would spin and his pants could flare out and clear the screen of enemies. -
LAST DAY ~= The Big AX Box of Crap VI =~
kroogur replied to the.golden.ax's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
Things have been brutally slow at work and when you get paid by the job and not by the hour you are in a world of hurt financially so I must sit this one out. But! since Ax is a great seller and all around groovy guy! I will wholeheartedly endorse the Box-o-Crap and highly recommend that those of you who either have not got one ever or perhaps are on the fence Take The Plunge! It's great fun, you never know what you will get! Here is my youtube channel with two unboxings to show you what kind of coolness one can expect with a Box-o-crap! http://www.youtube.com/user/MrKroogur?feature=mhee And I see in the pic that Ax posted is a Blip! that right there is worth some extra awesome points! (I love my Blip!) -
the most shamefull video game ever made?

Where to start? Character selection/creation: Dragon Age Origins - Six Origins to choose from and Three races to choose from. Dragon Age II - One origin and one race....yes really. Overall look and feel of the game: Dragon Age Origins - Fairly large map with lush scenery and many unique locations from enchanted woods to creepy deserted graveyards, ancient temples, swamp, majestic castles and weird little towns. Dragon Age II - Hanna Barbera Medieval style! You get the same looping backgrounds in glorious drab-o-vision!(seriously Fallout 3 was more colorful) You get such breathtaking locations as the city! the slums! a mine! a craggy sea side area, generic mountain, and some underground areas that are as visually striking as vanilla pudding thrown on a white wall. Character Interaction/Development: Dragon Age Origins: Nearly everyone was likeable for one reason or another and you genuinely cared what happened to them. Duncan was too awesome and we lost him too soon. The King was likeable. Loghain was such a shifty %$#%@ that it drove you through the game just for a chance to stomp his worthless hide, Morrigan/Flemeth very interesting dynamic there and it was cool to see how it played out,The various rulers from other areas were all well done with their own interesting problems,The Noble/Commoner angle with the dwarfs really pulled you in, the disgusting bigotry against the elves was done well, and being able to rise above whatever your starting circumstances were was handled well. Dragon Age II: Hawke - Plank from Ed,Edd and Eddy had more personality (and Plank was a 2X4) Carver/Bethany - Whiny idiots Mom - Whiny idiot Uncle - Manipulative whiny idiot Varric - Only cool character in game. Anders - Cool in Awakenings - absolute ass in DA2 Isabela - Whiny slut Merril - The sole reason for the bigotry against the elves - mousy whiny idiot. Fenris - Someone call Final Fantasy, one of their freaks escaped. Storyline: Dragon Age Origins - Thrust into a leadership role nearly from the beginning you have to overcome so much to even begin to be prepared to stop the darkspawn the whole game is crafted carefully to engage you every step of the way and actually give a care about trying to make good sound decisions as they can affect things if you don't. Dragon age II - You and you chicken guts family flee Ferelden and once in Kirkwall have to grow a spine and become a champion anyway. Never mind the fact that by the time you get there the Darkspawn in Ferelden are likely defeated and you can simply return thus saving the player from having to play this horrible game because quite frankly unless you play as a mage you have no real incentive to care about the whole Templars vs. Mages struggle in Kirkwall, i'm a rogue or warrior whats my motivation here? my brother/sister? who cares they are whiny idiots anyways (see above). The bottom line for Dragon Age II? It should have been a DLC for Origins and cost 1/3 of what it did as an alleged "full game" there is simply not enough in the game to make it anything more than shovelware to grab a few bucks 'till Dragon Age 3 comes out. But thats just my opinion your mileage with DA2 may vary -
If your SNES is already modded and plays imports fine then you are set! I stopped caring what the internets thought years ago when I realized that as long as I was happy with what I had then that is all that matters. Besides you could take the money you would have spent on another system and get more cool games!
