What a freakin piece -o- crap that guy is! Thats terrible customer service i agree with theking21083 mostly Atari fans are gonna buy that shirt until they notice the glaring mistake. The only other folks i see buying that shirt are the kids that cut their teeth on the SNES and want to be trendy because retro is still in.

What is it with the Flea Markets lately? a few weeks back the Four Seasons (just out of Youngstown,OH) burned, the only things in that building however were mountains of cheaply made trinkets and junk, overpriced tools,cd's dvd's, a couple spots selling groceries and two of the nastiest bathrooms ever known to exist. The only carts were some well picked over 2600 commons that had been there for years

Favorite 2600 game of all time?: Adventure What is it I like about that game?: Option 3 still keeps me playing to this very day! I don't need the hyper realistic graphics my mind handles all the details! When I first played the 2600?:1978 What is my "2600" these days?:A Light Sixer and occasionally my 7800 What got me into the 2600 then?: My friends What keeps me in the 2600 now?: The fact that the games are a challenge, they draw you in and compel you to try to beat your old score or your friends!

Yeah Pac Man was pretty bad but we didn't have much money when I was growing up and when it showed up with my easter goodies I played the hell outta it, but yes it did stink.

One of the Best games on the system is Kaboom! But Kaboom!? If you have good paddles, this is a challenging game and play it with the lil buckets and then still flip it and then tell me you dont feel like Lord of all Atari when youre done Yes The Mad Bomber rules! So does Warlords as I cant believe that made this list either. Warlords is the best 4 person game ever IMO. Cheers PS: MOST Coleco games for the VCS sucked because of the graphics like it has been mentioned before and I think it is true, that Coleco specifically made their VCS games crappy so you would go buy the Colecovision and it makes complete sense to me. DK Jr has to be the most disappointing game because you EXPECTED to see something brilliant and fun since we all loved the arcade version right? DK Jr gets my Top slot of most Disappointing after further review. I was never bad at Kaboom it just never interested me for very long I actually liked Eggomania better because you can shoot back! I realize Kaboom is a beloved classic and it certainly belongs on any top ten list but it's just not my cup-o-tea.

Probably Kaboom it was a game i got when i traded a buddy for a bunch of games and it was the only stinker in the bunch.

I still like my EPA angle I mean after all if those carts are down there we can't have them leeching all those nasty toxins into the earth. Better to be safe then sorry right? -
First chasethechuckwagon transaction and it was a good deal all around! Shawn Sr. is great to deal with.

This is what I don't understand and I have common sense: 13 games shipped starting bid $.99 and $5.00 shipping for first class through USPS http://cgi.ebay.com/PAC-MAN-Atari-in-box-1...1QQcmdZViewItem 1 game shipped starting bid $.99 and $4.50 shipping for first class for 1 single game http://cgi.ebay.com/Donkey-Kong-Colecovisi...1QQcmdZViewItem That right there is what i'm talking about, first and foremost ebay is an online auction site not an online store with set prices you better believe the 13 game auction is a better deal. Would i even bid on that single game? No and most folks wouldn't unless they really wanted it for whatever reason, it all boils down to is how sellers want to do business on ebay. Me personally I can scrounge boxes and packing materials either at work or from local businesses or i just use the Priority boxes if I ship that way and i never add handling as there are 3 post offices on my way to work, there is a UPS drop off across the street from work. I realize not everyone has those options.

Congratulations on your good fortune!

I apologize if this was brought up before but I ain't reading through 37,487 pages of this thread. The enviro-folks don't want computers or components thrown away due to chemicals and such leeching into the ground right? Just tell them there may be a tremendous amount of cartridges located in that landfill and let them dig the place up to see if it needs cleaned up. Oooorrr go over to the Mythbusters website and suggest that myth and see if they want to tackle it, if they do the research and see how many mega threads there are over this topic they may want to bust this myth. -
which side? To the left you have a water cooler I pulled from one of the stores I sold and to the right a teetering stack of misc videogame goodness. To the left, we got ours at Lowes

Sorry it wasn't anything really interesting just me blathering on. ---------------------------------------------------- Well if he SAYS priority and it doesn't get shipped priorty then you aren't getting what you paid for and you have a reason to bitch even if he charges exact shipping. Agreed! If he says flat rate or other or something else then you don't no matter what he charged. If the seller states flat rate i have learned that he means as cheap as he can get it sent and that means the shipping better reflect that,if Flat Rate is stated and the shipping for lets say a single loose cart is listed as $9 then thats a load of crapola and one should not buy from that person The argument that if you pay $9 shipping and the seller paid $4 to ship then you are being ripped off is just retarded. By the same logic whenever you bid on FREE SHIPPING items you are now stealing from the seller and ripping him off. Sorry my argument is not "retarded" if i pay $9 for shipping then i damn well better get $9 worth of shipping meaning well packaged and securely sent and if the seller offers FREE SHIPPING then the buyer steals nothing as the seller offered the free shipping to begin with so how is that a rip off? So now you guys who hate high shipping will give sellers who charge excess shipping negs. The clearly listed shipping wasn't enough to prevent you from bidding why would several negs in his feedback that say "high shipping" matter? I wont leave a neg if i get the overcharge for shipping refunded The real reason you guys love this is you just wan't to complain and think you will now be heard but you won't. Everyone will have negs and they just won't mean as much. If those seller lose sales shipping goes up not down so you have just made it worse. No i don't want to just complain I just want fair and equitable customer service and not be gouged, ebay is an auction and with any auction there is a risk of the item going for lower than what you may want and as a seller you have option to either set a reserve or open with a price closer to what you realistically want for that item we all know however that your odds of selling said item improve with a low starting bid and and if it only sells for $1.00 then thats the risk a seller takes but don't gouge on shipping just to make up for the perceived loss

Missadventure Revised (Adventure hack)

This is absolutely incredible!!! Thanks to everyone who put in so much work into this one! -
Speaking as a buyer i will offer this explanation as to why folks get mad about shipping and it is plain and simple: People go to ebay looking for a bargain like a giant flea market right in your home we understand the item will cost money to ship what we don't understand is why shipping is stated in the auction is say $10 and when we get said item it's wrapped in used kleenex and stamped with $1.43 postage that right there is the problem. If we never find out that it cost $1.43 to ship then we are blissfully unaware. Some folks are quick to say "we'll you knew the shipping up front" or "don't like the shipping don't buy" or suggest trying to haggle the shipping cost and those statements are all well and good. If ebay really wanted to address the problem they would make two slots to fill out one for the actual shipping cost and the secondary for the handling cost this would give the buyer better protection from getting gouged by some gluttonous pig seller who figures this item may not sell for a good enough price so i'll just pad the shipping! And if the shipping is $1.50 and the handling is $10.00 you as the buyer can either haggle or just move on But what if the seller lies when he fills out the shipping info? well here's the cool part if the seller fudges the numbers and the postage is on the package and it don't match you have instant proof and can file a complaint with ebay against the scumbag seller! I also sell on ebay and i never charge handling fee's as they are BS for a private seller to ask for(you can very well drop that package off on your way to work and packing materials are easy enough to scrounge for). However if you sell in large volume and or have employees then i can understand a handling fee because packing materials, fuel and manpower do cost money when i list an auction i pack then weigh the item then get the proper postage listed on the auction i ship either priority mail or UPS and by God thats what my customers get! none of this charge for priority and send media crap.
