  1. Yes. The Warriors The Punisher And the classic arcade game collections from Taito,Midway,Capcom etc... are excellent!
  2. That would be the unboxing video on my youtube channel.
  3. Not happy at all. I have very little DLC and rarely am online but the whole personal info angle has me pissed thats just sloppy. Thanks Sony
  4. Not wanting to be outdone the Chinese are working at the problem. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-pacific-11368027
  5. Watership Down would be interesting. Murder mysteries like Agatha Christies works or the gritty detectives like Sam Spade, Phillip Marlowe etc.. I realize The Adventure Company already makes Agatha Christie games but seeing as how their games are so glitchy and broken I don't count them as serious attempts...or a serious company either. I'm at work so those are the ones that I can think of at the moment.
  6. I have beaten this on the original hardware(with a lil game genie help on the side) and this game is controller snapping difficult even with the game genie :x The video done by AVGN is actually less his usual over the top satire and closer to reality. The game was way more difficult than it needed to be and was particularly frustrating because if you're a fan of the Silver Surfer from the comics the lil weenie portrayed in this game was obviously not the real Silver Surfer but probably some terrible doppleganger or possibly the Hypno Hustler with an identity crisis.
  7. Thanks for checking in on me. :) I posted a thread about where I have been.

  8. Steelers!!! Whooo!!! :)

  9. Steelers!!! Whooo!!! :)

  10. One scary critter is the feral ghouls they sneak around and make this hideous gurgling noise before running full tilt at you flailing their arms.
  11. I understand . I still have fun with my VIC 20,C64,Atari 800XL,TI99/4A etc... from a collectors view point I have the room and the Aquarius would be a nice addition but from a practical standpoint I can't see the exorbitant price for what i'm getting cause we ain't talking Faberge Eggs here
  12. I agree things are out of hand on ebay. Up until a few months ago I never even knew the Mattel Aquarius existed I had never heard of it until a member here on the forums started talking about it so I thought cool maybe i'll check it out. I found a complete set up on shopgoodwill recently with the computer the expander and some games and such for about $25 + $15 shipping. fair enough so I bid on it and at end of auction someone got it for $48 which was fine but I was not going to pay that kind of money for it. Then I checked ebay and saw this: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 180559066612 and this: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 400086033778 What?? Good lord people it's perspective here, c'mon it's an ancient outdated piece of technology that very few people even remember and fewer will want to even try to use by the looks of the keyboard and that book?? maybe if it came with a complete system with all the accessories and the complete library of software but $150?? for just the book? I am still interested in an Aquarius but I can't justify that kind of cash for what is essentially a paperweight with blue buttons. I have a rare, original, vintage, hard to find 1984 Ford LTD it's 26 years old and everything so I should be able to get at least what? maybe $20,000 for it?
  13. Sounds like you dodged the bullet on that one, it would have horrible if he would have started banging the phone receiver on the desk shouting "Distribution and marketing fee's have to come down!!!"
  14. Oh i get it! So I could have got a copy of Redneck Rampage from them and it would have run fine on Vista with little hassle instead of me having to search the internet for hours and then go through 17 different kinds of hell to get it to run on Vista.
  15. Never heard of them. Were they similar to this site?: http://www.abandonia.com/
  16. I tried...i tried so very hard to like this game I loved the character selection the pre made characters are awesome (I chose the Shark for the "Landshark!" effect and got about 50% through the game and that was by literally forcing myself to play it. The game just would not hold my interest long I wound up trading it and a few other games in on Red Dead Redemption and Sega Genesis Ultimate collection and Capcom Classics remixed for the PSP. This game had all the right elements: Interesting pre-made characters Cool music Funny references to other games Great graphics (they were well done and executed well) Awesome sword But this game just didn't click for me
  17. Happy Birthday! and Congrats on the good news!

  18. Home gaming definitely. Arcades were fun but the noise/smoke/shady characters were unpleasant to deal with. Favorite genre is tough to nail down but I usually enjoy adventure/action style games including platformers and rpg's. Atari 2600 was my first followed by Intellivision, NES,7800 and pretty much every console ever since. I think Street Fighter 2 for the Super NES was decent enough compared to the arcade. Sneak and Peek... yes really I thought a special cabinet that did not permit your opponent from seeing where you hid would have been cool.
  19. Sorry I haven't been around as much but things are not going well for me lately. In addition to hurting my back at work (and still having to work) my dad has been the hospital and it looks like he may have brain cancer. Sorry about the doom and gloom but I do appreciate that my friends here are willing to check up on me :)

  20. Good Lord!!!!!!! $180 freakin dollars for a refurb system that only comes with one controller and no game???
  21. Dragon Age Origins would be a great choice.
  22. They had Star Wars themed ones and I always liked the Rancor monster in the movie so I bought the Rancor "Keychain Pet" It was pretty cool at the time and I think I still may have it somewheres.
  23. I am playing though Red Dead now and it's a great game. I haven't heard of Infamous but I can definitely recommend Fallout 3! I had it for the PS3 and enjoyed it so much I bought a copy for the PC so I could enjoy the many wonderful mods that people can make for the game. Here's the skinny on Fallout 3: There is a main quest that can be followed straight through or you can take a break from it and do sidequests (some of which are pretty cool as well) You can go anywhere you want whenever you want and the map is fairly big although not quite as large as Oblivion and the only transportation in game is the "shoe leather" express although you can fast travel to places you have already been, the subways are long disabled but the tunnels will get you access to different parts of the Metro DC area and in a few other select cities on the map. There are two radio stations to listen to, Galaxy News Radio where the host Three Dog gives news reports that update as you complete certain key quests and he plays an awesome mix of 40's music! the other station is the President giving patriotic speeches and such. There are a few very cool places like Oasis,Minefield and Andale that add a little offbeat flavor to the game. You can get companions to join you depending on your alignment Good,Neutral or Evil and they can be very entertaining to have along. I would suggest getting the Game of the Year edition because it has the add-ons and they are quite good too with my favorites being Mothership Zeta and Point Lookout.
  24. I found one at a flea market this morning for $15 with maybe all the "hook ups". But when i was checking it over the bottom of the unit was cracked from one side to the other and it was slightly bulged so I could see some of the internals. I passed on it, but I'm still a bit curious about how well they hold up?
  25. That right there explained everything i needed to know
