  1. Sorry I wont be able to make it tonite Hope everyone has a good chat.
  2. *sigh* Okay first it's Kroogur not Kroger. And second I have no paper that i'm aware of. Although Flashback 2's are pretty pretty cool!
  3. I meant both kids and adults anticipating a great game when they are first released. I was actually happy with E.T. for the 2600 as well as Raiders of the Lost Ark they were crude to be sure but still managed to entertain. moving on to NES my friends and I anxiously awaited these games and were kicked squarely in the face by: Who Framed Roger Rabbit? Back to the Future Rambo Predator Ghostbusters Jaws Raiders of the Lost Ark: Temple of Doom Star Wars Sadly those games are complete Rubbish and a massive waste of money for the consumer and a movie license for the game producer. On the flip side here are some truly good efforts that are enjoyable to play: A Nightmare on Elm St. for the PC Land of the Dead for the XBox Ghostbusters Sega Genesis and the new game on the current gen platforms. Batman for the Genesis Batman Returns for the SNES And those are just a few good examples.
  4. Because people want to continue the "magic" they felt from watching the movie and a video game should be interactive bliss capturing all the fun and excitement of the movie instead we get treated to such gems as the BTTF games, The wretched Indiana Jones games, Predator,Jaws etc..... It's almost like the developers never even saw the film they just slapped some mish-mash together and shipped it.
  5. Happy Birthday!!!

  6. Happy Birthday! Hope it's great!

  7. I had got one as a gift when they first came out and nothing worked well with it. I barely got it to work well with Punch Out!! and Gloveball was somewhat playable but even games advertised as being specifically compatible with it like Bad Street Brawler were nearly unplayable. I don't care for him but I will give credit when due, The Angry Video Game Nerd covered the Glove very well by trying it with many different games and it was a disaster. I tried not to be overly negative with this post and am interested to see if anyone has had a good experience with this thing.
  8. I know i'm on the big-n-fat side but there is only one Kroogur Sorry for the confusion but Kroogur/Ol Kroo are one and the same. I have pm'ed you both to see if we can get this sorted out.

  10. Check out this vid and the other vids on Ashens channel he cover these games very well.
  11. I like that! kinda like the Sliders TV series. I will be putting pen to paper tonight and jotting down more ideas.
  12. Tron Thundercats Atari Vectrex Imagic Odyssey Star Wars Arcadia the aforementioned Godzilla logo i can't quite make out the others and Sebring which i believe was some type of Chrysler product
  13. Jaguar today? It would have to be no less than 10 different kinds of awesome to snag market from Microsoft,Sony,Nintendo. First it would have to do something the other three don't. It would come as a two piece unit a base unit with a docking station that hooks to the TV and a portable unit(that Lynx to the docking station )the size of the DS Lite. The base unit is a multimedia powerhouse Blu Ray/DVD/and CD and Disc based games with plenty of built in storage for downloadable games and it would come pre loaded with the entire Atari library from Jag CD to 2600 to attract the original Atari fans. both units have Wi-Fi and the portable has enough storage to take a healthy selection of games with you on the go as well as browser capabilities and mp3/mp4 and such.
  14. *Raises hand excitedly!!* I know why it's wrong! Because NES units and to an even greater extent Atari 2600's are a finitesupply item. They ain't making any new ones folks and those units could have either been repaired or used for parts for other working systems. Of course I remember last time I stuck up for Atari related products getting destroyed needlessly more folks took the side of the guy destroying the Atari
  15. Thats awesome! If you like maybe send a pm to groovybee and discuss graphics and animation with him. The more help we get with this the cooler it will be.
  16. I have been contacted by both Groovybee and j.m.ratkos today and we are starting to gather the basic story line and elements so yes things are progressing. When we have a solid plot we will post it
  17. I posted a comment correcting his info but I don't see it anywhere.
  18. Thanks Chicky oh and btw......chat happening in about 20 min!!
  19. Ok update time. I don't have the plot outline started because the winner of the scenario poll j.m.ratkos contacted me and we are currently getting things organized So basically once we get things sorted out we will post up the plot and then hopefully get some great input from the community to roll this thing along! *Updates will be posted as needed*
  20. Well with current gen systems and the ability for downloadable content and plug in's and such, TV Game show based games would be kept fresh and interesting! You mentioned some good choices like: Press Your Luck Jeopardy Tic Tac Dough Wheel But how about: $25000 Pyramid Hollywood Squares Price is Right
  21. For me this was not much effort as I live in OH but work in PA and on my drive i pass no less than 5 Walgreens. And this particular unit is actually pretty good in terms of game selection and quality construction and having the Tengen version of Tetris on it more than makes it worth the effort.
