Happy Sunday!
Sprites only for now. Sprite driver still has a few glitches (hiding sprites isn't 100% done for example).
Great work, thank you!

I ordered a "Early Access" system and was curious if anything changed since the end of the Kickstarter in regards to these "Early Access" systems and the timeline for their release?
-
I'm a bit lost. People started to pre-order stuff. What is available and who do I contact for that? You? I'm not sure what game I should get. Was one of your new listings that penguin game? I thought that was already out.
From Opcode email on 9/22:
New COLOR line games coming soon! Our two new Color line games for the ColecoVision with Super Game Module are almost here: Yie Ar Kung-Fu II and Alpharoid!
- Alpharoid: The Central Computer is out of control and it is up to Space Marshall Alpharoid to destroy it before it destroys humanity. But it isn't going to be an easy job. Alpharoid must travel 8 worlds infested with flying enemies until it can reach the heavily protected computer base. Fly into one of the craters in the landscape to enter an underground tube and fight robots and aliens in hand-to-hand combat! If you win, you can capture power-ups and upgrade Alpharoid's arsenal. Part shooting game, part fighting game, Alpharoid is like nothing you have played before on your ColecoVision.
- Yie Ar Kung-Fu II: It was just twenty years ago that LEE, the Kung Fu master, wiped out the dastardly Chop Suey Gang. But one member of the gang managed to survive…
YEN PEI now calls himself the Yie Gah Emperor, and with his seven warlords, he has extended his evil influence throughout China. LEE’s son, LEE YOUNG, has come forth to meet this evil emperor. To the deadly killing arts of Kung Fu which he learned from his father, he has added his own special techniques. Help LEE YOUNG to use his Kung Fu against the Yie Gah Emperor!!
Yie Ar Kung Fu II and Alpharoid will start shipping this October in limited quantities, so make sure you pre-order today.

The early access system purchases will get one system that will be the same as the production systems that get delivered later unless the kickstarter does not get funded.
Thanks for all the work to bring these to market! When does the early access ordering close?

Great news, thanks!

Coincidence? I don't think so ....

On the Collectorvision website it says "– 20+ Built-in digital Original Colecovision™ games" - how is that possible from a legal perspective?
Don't look a gift horse....

-
So, is there now going to be more energy put into dismantling actual new Coleco systems being available? Brand/persona hate getting unfairly transferred to enthusiastic and capable companies?
Please just make products available. Isn't the love of appreciative customers better than all of this?
Yes
No

"If that makes me a hypocrite, then so be it. In the mean time, go have a cup of Brim."
fill it to the rim with that rich taste brother!

Mr. Cardillo can't be 100% evil...he is playing ball with Collectorvision and in turn, the Coleco community. So what if he feels bad for the stuff last year? Maybe he actually does and this goes a long way to mending fences in my opinion.
-
Oh..and if you knew anything about half the CEOs of the companies you frequent , you'd probably hate them too.... we unfortunately saw the man behind the curtain for the beloved Coleco brand.

Man talk about ridiculous needless drama....be happy we are getting such an amazing system with the original name period, my god! And multiple faceplate options ,really? To good to be true...and if it is true that SHOULD silence all whining...but it won't

Hello Opcode,
I was hoping you could update the status of Donkey Kong , Pac-man DX and Space Invaders DX as well as re-release of Gradius?
Thanks!

Thank you for responding! Looks like I will be playing Donkey Kong this evening.

You are most welcome, enjoy! Let us know what you think.
