  1. sounds a bit up lifting. may god light your way to something released

Promised? Nothing was ever promised. I was considering it. That was at a point where the whole project look to be dead and buried, but it is not and therefor, the prototypes are still being actively worked on and expanded, so they will not be seeing Ebay anytime soon.

    Curt

o yeah where is that promised auction??

  2. you sound like that warejeg person when he demanded curt be honest.

we can hope. that a fb comes to us

I don't believe I said anything bad about Curt, and I am not demanding anything of anybody. I find it very offensive that my speculations of a company not being able to make it past the first of the year, is some how on par with personal attacks!!!!!!!!!!!! I think you need to re-read what I wrote and you will find I attacked nobody with what I posted.

attacking is in the eye of the beholder. drawing some imaginary line to single out is comical.

i hate to admit it but seems that guy was right.

any flashback that actually gets off the drawing board and into the stores.

Normally I am optimistic about the Flashback products, but I don't see anymore FB's happening. At least not under the Atari name. What make me say this? Well, it was this post in another topic:

All joking aside the new board members brought it all appear to have backgrounds in LBO's (Leveraged Buy Outs) and M&A (Mergers and Acquisitions) and you add in the fact that during the summer (I think) Infogrames itself announced that Atari may have to file bankruptcy. This is all adding up to a very ominous framework that could be spelling the closure of Atari, Inc as its own separate firm and we may be witnessing Infogrames assimilating Atari Inc into itself and doing away with Atari, Inc.

    Curt

Sounds like they are trying to make payroll through the end of the year to me...if that.

I was thinking the same thing. Either that or they need to pay their lawyers to begin bankruptcy procedures.

I know that Curt said he wouldn't say anymore about the subject until after the first of the year, but I don't think there will be much to say. I think Atari Inc. won't be around after the first of the year!!!!

(Maybe I am just in a bad mood today :( )

  4. I heard Curt was going to move base of operations to the moon. There, he can hire free labor to work on all miriad of retro Atari paraphernalia, including the neural implant Jaguar, which will hit stores in time for Christmas 1984, as soon as his Atari brand time machine is finished.

so you dont believe curt? very understandable at this point but there is still hope
