  1. Naw, but she can bake the F* out of a turkey!
  2. Your mama so fat, she has other smaller fat mamas orbiting around her.
  3. Yeah, I'm pretty tired and worthless, none the less a simple confirmation I knew was funny. Yo mama smell so bad secret told on her.
  4. I'm not the owner, but I can't see any issue with you updating your game... The contest isn't over. Just edit your post Just wait until you see my update bomb I'm going to drop on Inaccurate Invaders on 4/15... Just kidding. -H
  5. Yeah - I am more likely to forgive a late, but correct COINC than a WTF I didn't hit that mofo... But that's just me. Level advance - changing colors. Like that. -H
  6. Definitely hooked. Since it's open source, I made a few improvements... In UR Gamez Hackin UR Codez I switched the loop doing CALL COINC from a loop to just check ALL... And the collision checks for the walls are a bit aggressive... Games like this are pixel accurate, so when walking the line / cutting things close - it's frustrating to die when you didn't Changed Y<50 to Y<49 Changed Y>110 to Y>113 -Howie
  7. I'm with Codex... We Vienna'ers prefer it here. I'm more of a "large scale" gamer - where I like to play around with diff systems and this board lets me consolidate all my nerdiness into a single venue. I do look at the Yahoo board sometimes (howieu), but it just doesn't feel good to me... As a kid I was all TI & 2600... Now, I'm more CV + TI since I'm developing... Oh, and a little Wii too. Sure... That's an open door.... -H
  8. I'm listening right now... On the Kojo Nnamdi show....
  9. Summer? Took me an hour or so. Of course, I got the prebuilt, and not the kit. And... It's so damn important - it can't wait that long. But you will need a desoldering iron. Definitely. -H Cool, this sounds like it could be a fun summer project.
  10. Wow. You even remembered mine - since I hadn't uploaded yet... That's some damn cool designs. Nice to see we all got Command Modules instead of Cassette tape or whatever they said. -H
  11. Inaccurate Invaders - unHUman InaccurateInvaders.zip
  12. Optimization just means making better - and you're right - in these days of compiled languages, the compilers have gotten so good and handle many optimizations for you. If you're programming on ghetto-old computers, like many of us, that's not as true. Loop optimization is often best done by hand. And, of course, there's optimization done to reduce memory footprints and code size. That's often still best done by hand.
  13. CorComp had a card "Triple Tech" that did 3 things: 1. Time clock 2. Speech synthesizer 3. Print buffer I never had that card - thought it was stupid.
  14. Daaaamnnn! That's nice! Shame I don't actually want a PEB... But, if you've got a CorComp MES I'll take that for free.
  15. Hopefully you guys can work something out. Ebay + Paypal is no longer a minor charge, but is around 10%, so hopefully you both can save some $ and keep things in our network. -H I sure am. I hope to at least have a disk and 32K setup and I finally have a PEB coming, I just need the cards to go into it and the right modules. Thanks for the heads up. Steve
  16. Despite your failure to PM me - I remembered. Shocker. Back to Aztec -H
  17. Not sure. I have it buried somewhere. I tried looking quickly on retroremakes and retrospec and didn't see it tho. I can dig it up for you... Send me a PM to remind me
  18. Got mine installed today and working (7800). Right now I'm using RCA and there's some shadowing / color shift, but I think that was mentioned. I do have an SVideo -> RCA adapter on order waiting for shipment from Taiwan I think. Hopefully that'll clear things up. But the video quality is amazing. Oh, and for the project I had to buy a desoldering iron. Man that thing is cool. -H
