  1. Stone Age Gamer sells this alternative. http://www.stoneagegamer.com/powerbase-mini.html
  2. I was not able to reproduce it here. Stella v3.9.3 (Intel Mac OS X 10.9.2) Wii2600 v0.2
  3. The model that you are trying to use is more important than your OS, at the moment. Which specific Macintosh model are you attempting to use?
  4. Depends on which Mac model that you are planning on using. If you're using a Intel-based (or a late PowerPC) model, it would be cheaper, easier and quicker to use the Stella emulator instead. http://stella.sourceforge.net
  5. There is OpenEmu. Download the experimental version of 1.0.2 from here. https://github.com/OpenEmu/OpenEmu/releases
  6. There is an experimental version of 1.0.2 https://github.com/OpenEmu/OpenEmu/releases
  7. Great fun! My girlfriend's hoping that you'll have Kinsey back more often.
  8. There is supposed to be some incompatibility with a few of the Homebrew emulators that don't like certain versions of the Wii remotes with built-in Motion Plus. Many of the more popular emulators were patched after this was discovered. You shouldn't have a problem with any licensed software.
  9. Could be a good start on a Sega Swirl clone.
  10. I've been looking for it, but I don't think that they added it yet. I've only found a way to switch between NTSC and PAL modes by using Display Mode in the Special Keys section of the controls preferences.
  11. I believe that the file extension needs to be ".a26". However, I haven't been able to get it play any 2600 games since the core was updated. EDIT: New core was buggy and has been fixed. https://github.com/OpenEmu/OpenEmu/issues/1179 Frantic20140227 is running.
  12. I can only guess that this has something to do with OS X's Gatekeeper seeing each version of Stella as a completely different application.
  13. Did this happen after replacing an older version of Stella with a newer one? I've noticed this after updating Stella and after moving to 10.8. It's quickly fixed. (If you're not sure how to do it) Highlight all of the ROMs in your folder, right click (or Control-Click). Continue to hold down Control and you should see the option "Get Summary Info". Select that and a "Multiple Item Info" window will open. Select Stella in the "Open With" drop down.
  14. I just gave my girlfriend my DSi. I've barely scratched the surface of what's available out there to play on these little guys. Thanks for the video! I hadn't heard of most of those games.
  15. "Classic British Motor Racing" for Wii. An uncontrollable mess and the only new game that I've ever returned.
  16. The family collection still contains Gameboy (original) NES Playstation Playstation 2 Xbox 360 Wii DSi 3DS XL Anything else that would've qualified was given up in 2010.
  17. The US 3DS eShop does have all of those games. Use the search feature and you should be able to find them.

Thanks! I had forgotten about this one.
  19. Geez whiz! There's not much I know to recommend after all of the other great games mentioned above. Here's what I can add. Drill Dozer - A neat platformer with built-in rumble Sonic Advance 1 & 2 Tekken Advance I don't know if these are on carts yet, but I've gotten a kick out of these two homebrews. Holy Hell - A Puzzle Shooter Waimanu - A Pengo clone with additions to gameplay.
  20. Jedi Arena (Atari 2600) and Namco's Star Wars (Famicom) were a couple of odd entries.
