  1. Thank you very much! No update is worth compromising your health. Take care.
  2. I use Mini vMac for 6.0.8, Basilisk II for 7.6.1 and Sheep Shaver for 9.0.4. If you are still interested in going the hardware route, I would recommend trying to locate an LC III+ that still has it's FPU since that can help with performance. The LC 475 which does not contain a FPU. Another model that contains a "full" 040 CPU would be a better choice. I used to have a Centris 650 that I thought did very well on System 7.
  3. Maybe PinMAME reports the scores to the target accurately?
  4. Oh! I didn't know that PMP needed to change the sounds himself. I had assumed that the sounds could be found in the released source code and swapped by someone else. There's no need to hold up the train of awesome heading to the 7800.
  5. It works for me. Try selecting "ATMAX 128 KB Cartridge" in the Cartridge Type window.
  6. Another fun episode! Keep 'em coming. You could probably get another episode or two out of this category. If you do, consider Rock 'N' Roll Racing (SNES/Gen) which is similar to R.C. Pro-Am.
  7. Wasn't there a suggestion about Pac 'N' Pal(/Chomp Chomp) being brought over. I'd rather see Pac-Land being built from the bones of Crystal Quest.
  8. I found the show pretty funny. If you dig the Naked Gun movies, then you'll most likely enjoy it. Some of the gags were recycled for the movies, but here you can see them in their original form.
  9. I believe that you will find that a PMC ROM was released by Opcode last year right here on AtariAge in celebration of 300 carts sold. http://atariage.com/...00#entry2613176
  10. Thanks for taking the time to complete this game. Fantastic!
  11. Thanks! Can't wait to try these out.
  12. A very good video. I felt that it was an informative and fair view of the system.
  13. http://plug-in.bestbuy.ca/t5/Visit-the-Plug-in-Blog/Nintendo-Wii-Mini-Ready-to-Launch-December-7th-for-99-99/ba-p/53938
  14. jzintvWii is availble for The Homebrew Channel.
  15. Fantastic! Thank you very much! This is a real treat! The inclusion of so many details and features are wonderful. This plays better than I imagined.
  16. If you have The Homebrew Channel installed, then WiiMC might fill your needs.
  17. This is more or less what others have said... Nintendo has failed to put enough focus on the actual console itself. The case design is much too similar to the existing Wii. General players aren't aware of the "limitations" of the original Wii hardware. The demos have shown many games that feature images with the same cartoon-y appearance and controllers that players have grown accustomed to the last few years. The same players aren't aware that the Wii would not be able to produce the visuals of Arkham City or Assassins Creed. Instead, focus has primarily been on the WiiU Gamepad. This has helped to foster the belief that this is an add-on and not an all-new product. Nintendo should have started many of the E3 presentations introducing the console itself covering many of the improvements/specs and then presented the gamepad features. I think that Nintendo was listening to a few concerns, but somehow missed the fact that people see this as just another accessory. The presentations show a lot of promise for the WiiU, but nearly all consoles have such wide open futures lying ahead of them. Some changes toward informing buyers need to be made.
  18. Kega Fusion seemed to cover all of the bases for any Sega console made before the Saturn. I was able to test it one day while borrowing an Intel iMac. I was able to play Chuck Rock (CD) and Sonic CD from ISO files, but I was not able to test out factory-pressed discs. The 32X cartridge emulation seemed to match my memory of what it was like to play with actual hardware. MagicEngine is a very good emulator with a fairly easy UI. It is able to run CD-ROMs whether they are factory-pressed or burned games. This is one that must be paid for to remove the time limit. Mini vMac is meant for emulating 80's/early 90's 68k Macs running System 1.0-7.5 (Best with 6.0. . It would not cover OS 8 or 9. For that you might want to look into using SheepShaver. It will cover Mac OS 7.5.2 to 9.0.4.
  19. I'm using a dual 2.0 GHz G5 tower (PowerPC) as my daily use computer and I've been very happy with what my machine can do, including emulation. All of the emulators that I am currently using ran fine on my single-processor 867 MHz G4 tower. Most of the emulators that I use are very simple to set-up and run. A couple are complex. This is not different from what I've experienced with my limited time on Windows PCs. The current line of Intel-based Macs have plenty of power to emulate other systems since the hardware is now the same as a Windows PC. The minor issue that dogs Macs is the availability of emulators for OS X. There are more out there for Windows, but there are still plenty for Mac. goldenegg's post includes many but not all of the emulators out there.
  20. Great work, PMP! This was quite a surprise.
  21. http://www.macmess.org/ No? EDIT: You'll probably be interested in this as well: http://forums.bannis...&Board=8&page=1 Compile? SDL framework? Frontend? I guess I could reboot into Windows, but that's a real pain just to run an emulator. I'm using OS X 10.5.8 on a G5. I can play 7800 games on SDLMESS 0.132 with Q MESS Cat II as a front-end. QMC2 Download Page http://qmc2.arcadehits.net/wordpress/download/ MacMESS - Contains link to a precompiled Universal version of SDLMESS 0.132 http://www.macmess.org/
  22. HBC was recently updated, but it is up to the individual programmers to recompile each of their applications with the new libogc to operate with the newer "TR" Wiimotes. At least that's how I understood it.
  23. I think that the Cyberman should be Davros instead. Edit: Just remembered this one: http://www.atariage.com/hack_page.html?SystemID=&SoftwareHackID=289
