Have you tried using QMESS Cat II as a front-end for SDLMESS? It works pretty well on 10.5 and an old G5. It is Universal for PPC/Intel and was just updated early in March. http://qmc2.arcadehits.net/wordpress/

Very good job! A bit hard for me, but that's mostly my lack of skill.

Heck, didn't they fix that mess in the new HBC 1.1.0 update?

As for TG-16/PCE emulation, I agree! I've been very pleased with the ease that I can play CD-ROMs (with full audio). I ran into the same issue with the dump quality. In my experience with WiiMednafen, it seems to be very good with most of the systems that hadn't been emulated on Wii before. I'm not yet totally sold on the systems that have been covered in other emulators. The exceptions being WiiHandy and WiirtualBoy. Still early days for this effort though.

Great job to all involved! I was replaying the Pac-Man Collection Sound Hack. http://www.atariage....ost__p__2071263 I wondered if some of the TIA sounds from the 7800 PMC could be lifted and used in PMAe?

Adding level breaks like those in Fast Food or Kaboom! might help give the player a sense of accomplishment. Maybe have a break every 25 points. Is there a way to add non-food items that cost points if caught? Since this is the Odyssey2, it would seem natural to have KC Munchkin in place of the chomping jaws.

No it's not. Those emulators can manage thousand of ROM files in the same directory without issue. Not sure why you are looking further, it IS an issue with the Homebrew Channel when Wifi is disconnected and IOS reload feature is used. The thing is, only emulators use that feature because it let them access to DVD drive, where you can store ROM files as well, so people believe it's an issue with emulator, but it's not. Proof is that using the official forwarder channels to load the emulators fix that issue. I was responding to donsswords' continuing issue with the emulators. I had incorrectly believed that your advice about removing the line of code would take of the issue entirely. I was not attempting to second guess you and look further. I know nothing about coding and wasn't trying to insult you in any way. You were very clear and I understand that it is an issue with HBC. Thank you for joining AA to help straighten this out.

I'm curious. What is it about Disk Utility that it's doing wrong? That's what I had used. Is it not providing enough space? Like many, I am awaiting the next update to help with N64 (and PSX) compatibility. Hopefully, the update will arrive soon. We have a N64 and PSX, but I use the emulators to see if they are worth buying. I agree that it could now be the amount of ROMs that you have. I try to keep my ROM collections comparatively lean. The range is around 10-100 files per emulator.

I was thinking that it was something wrong with the formatting of the card. Good to see that it was an easy fix. You're right. I use a Class 4 card and I don't find the speed to be an issue.

Are the crashes occurring while scrolling the list or while you're trying to launch a game? Are there any games that cause repeated crashes?

I've been very pleased with the performance of FCEUltra GX and Visual Boy Advance GX. I wouldn't consider them unstable. The only game that I can recall giving me issues is "Sega Arcade Gallery" which runs slow and choppy. Have you tried alternate copies of the games that you are causing you trouble? It, also, could be your SD card. I'm using Wii 4.3U with Homebrew Channel 1.0.8 on the previously mentioned SanDisk 16GB SDHC card.

I tested "Chip Chan Kick!" for PC-FX and it ran slow during the FMV bits. The game levels seem to play fine. The speed issue was acknowledged by Raz0red. Mednafen is worth your while if you're emulating on the Wii. I feel that it features the best emulation of the Virtual Boy, Lynx, PC Engine/TurboGrafx-16 (& CD) and Neo Geo Pocket. Plus there's WonderSwan, PC-FX and SuperGrafx along for the ride. Pretty sweet for a 0.0 release. Do yourself a favor, stop by Radio Shack and buy the 16GB Sandisk SDHC card that they have for $26 and load that puppy up.

It works. Have you tried the Classic Controller?

Just replayed this in MAME and got the same thing to happen. Tried to get back here to edit, but you beat me. Ha!

Sorry. I had been concerned that the jump down to 32k was a problem to getting all of the game in. I see that wasn't the issue. This is looking amazing. I have noticed that when playing RC 5 on Easy, after two deaths Module II is being used instead of Module III. This after I have docked Modules II and III together.

Would returning to 48k give you all of the space that you need?

Lots of nice improvements! The line clearing is perfect.

Wow! Thanks for the update. This already has much of the feel and difficulty of the original.

Music plays nice and clear here on Mac OSX and jzIntvWii. -
If you're using MESS it is unavoidable - Use ProSystem. I'm really hoping MESS Atari 7800 emulation is improved someday, or a new version of ProSystem is released with better display options and tweaks. Especially considering the relatively new HLSL added to MAME/MESS, you can really fix the display to look identical to an actual traditional television set. Thank you, but I'm on OSX 10.4 for PowerPC. The closest to ProSystem that I can use is Wii7800 which is based on ProSystem 1.2, which also loops at the logo. I can get the game to play in MacMESS and Wii7800 if I use the PAL BIOS.

The NTSC version keeps looping at the Atari logo. Is there something that I'm doing wrong?

Edison Mall's dual Gamestops is a bit strange. Good to see that you found someone there receptive to jumping on the bandwagon. Please don't rush on Moon Cresta. Take your time and get it the way that you want.

I did recognize the level start chime from Discs of Tron being used during Disc Wars scene. Not sure if the disc sound could be considered based on the Intellivision sound or not.

Wow! Yet another great surprise! Thanks!
