The eBay account for these sales is a guy named Gary who runs a little Flea Market business in the Hillbilly Fleamarket just 3 miles from my house. He has rediculous prices on most of his stuff. He is also a little bit windy and tells tall tales about his sales. I have seen these games and many others he has put on eBay lately. He had Rescue Terra I and told me a tall tale that he sold it on eBay for $180 when it sold for $87. I know because I watched and bid on it myself just so I could walk in and call his bluff on his tall tales. He will ship his stuff out when he sells them but in the flea market he is extremely reluctant about losing $1 on anything. He recently had a game he had no clue about and couldn't find any info about it so he stuck a $100 price tag on it. I went to my house and grabbed the exact same game and a print out for him and told him that if he sells his stuff to just ask me about them. He refused thinking he knows it all but I can tell you he sells questionable bought items from people selling them to him. You won't see those on eBay though because he knows that the serial numbers will be traced. I have personally never bought anything from him but have just stopped in occasionally to give him grief. BTW. I have never told him any of his games are worth alot of money. He just types the name of the item on eBay and goes by the prices there. So, if McG has an item on there with his high prices then Gary goes with that. Thanks McG.

I do believe it is. BTW: Parting out everything.

Mine started when I was 6. My mom and dad bought one in 1979 for Christmas for me and my brothers. My mother always has had it in the liiving room in the closet. For years, when we would visit, my brothers and myself always got it out and just played it. She still has it to this day. I have never lost interest. I just had not gotten into the collecting side of everything until later years. My mom still refuses to let me have her Atari and games. She still has all the Atari Club issued games and has all the boxes manuals, inserts, comics, posters, and everything else for the rest of the other 200 or so games she has. She won't let me have it because it belongs to all of us. I keep bugging her about Quadrun and Waterworld but she just won't give in. I try not to bother her about it but I really hope she just gives them to me for my collection. She has seen what I have and says I have too much but too much is never enough. I do part with most loose game consoles and duplicate stuff but can't let go of the treasures I hide. Matter of fact, I played my mom a game of Warlords last week. She won of course but she always liked to play with us boys and knew how to play them. One day those Atari Club games will be mine.

If they don't exist then how does he know that they are money makers? -

Stay with the 9.3 VDC adapter. I have had too many bad experiences with the 11.5 vdc where the power supply just doesn't work. The 9.3 vdc is the only adapter i will use on both of mine. I have both 2 and 4 port.

Any interest in a 2600 Defender Arcade Re-Release?
ninermaniac replied to CPUWIZ's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
Me too! Cant wait to pop it in my 7800 and play Defender Multiplayer with ninermaniac on ATRILIVE! You better not use your modded CX-40 or Wilco controller! -
Well, I have a top loader that I want to put the A/V outputs on but GameX doesn't have very illustrated pictures and I have heard it is not the best A/V setup either. Does anyone have good illustrated picures on the mod. I want to do this myself but I can't seem to find any really good illustrations. Instructions just don't help me a whole lot so does anyone have good pics of this mod? Something I can use? All the help is appreciated. ....Thanks

You know me. I'm in. -
It's a gold mine! Research helps but alot of people go on the hope they can catch a sucker.
-
Another smooth wonderful transaction! Always a pleasure to deal with. Thank you Dane.

Actually, that seems about right. Considering the game itself sells for $300-$400 itself.

Not to argue but when I first joined AA I was completely involved in Answer Software games. Chips, PCB's, Etc. I still am a fan of Answer Software items. I don't know why but everyone has their favorite. Could be that I found one in a box full of other games a few years ago and that got me started on them when I found out how much it was really worth then. I don't go asking everyone anymore because it got me nowhere very fast. When I see a No Reserve auction for Answer Software stuff I go for it. I don't get crazy like I used to because I know patience will get you what you want. You have your opinion, even though it's illfaded and incorrect, and that is totally fine. Just remember! If you go after another Answer Software auction you'll have to deal with me. Got it!
