Not Mine! (Patent Pending) http://cgi.ebay.com/1990-Nintendo-World-Ch...%3A1%7C294%3A50 Are they really worth this much?

He usually brings his prices down in the last day. He'll take it to $479 I would say. He had it at $499 at the last auction. I believe he had it at $479 just earlier today? Big jump!

UPDATE! of UPDATE Looks like i have been suckered again!
ninermaniac replied to Atarimania75's topic in Auction Central
Man. That's messed up. Sounds like he has planned this a few times. I really don't think there is anything you can do at this point but to say the item delivered was not the actual item recieved. Where you are the buyer they tend to side with the buyer more than the seller. Pics. Take pics! Especially of the package it was sent in. You can show the handwriting from the letter and the envelope to show that the handwriting is the same. If it is typed then that is a different story. I hate this crap. Small time eBay sellers are doing this more often and eBay needs a new seller system where the items sent would only be sent in eBay shipping boxes only and the seller has to purchase the label from PayPal only. -
Well, it would be worth the $60 if it is the 5200 console that has the * in the serial number. It is quite rare and is the only 4 port system that can use the 2600 VCS adapter. ASk for the serial number and if it has an * in it buy it!

big $ 4 rare carts to 'complete' collection? rationalize!
ninermaniac replied to Derek's topic in Atari 2600
One reason the cost of certain rare games stays high usually is because of resellers. I resell stuff sometimes but some sellers know if you want it at the price it usually sells at then you'll pay for it. Some auctions give resellers a chance to get it cheaper but more times than not there is a reserve anyway sopaying a premium for the rare harhder to find games has become something of the norm. Just gotta have time and know what to look for. -
EBay - "If you only watch I'll make it more expensive!"

Can't resist. Watching! 4 times. -
Absolutely. Better to have proper results and rough looking holes then a super clean looking mod with a fuzzy picture. Good luck with your sale! Someone should snap that up. Chris Thanks, I hope somebody looks at it that way. Alright. Someone who really appreciates the work. Not everyone owns a drill press or Dremel. Plastic is pretty tough to mark and drill sometimes. Slips to the side sometimes. I know your pain.

Seconded.

Price Check: Dreamcast Prototypes
ninermaniac replied to the.golden.ax's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
I talked to the guy selling these. He assures me they are genuine. I know that there is quite a few blanks still around was wondering if he had any paperwork to back these up. He didn't but insisted they are genuine. Someone with the right equipment could easily fake them which is why I steer clear of them. I just don't trust stuff written in sharpie when they used alot of stickers then to label their works. Especially finals. -
Price Check: Dreamcast Prototypes

Interesting. They look like CD Roms. I have seen these go for $20 - $40 unless it's unreleased then you are looking at about $75 - $100. This is based on what I would pay and what I have seen them sell for. It really fluctuates too much anymore. -
Or this. http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=142347 I can haggle a little.

Now, I believe, this puts more to the vendors theory that the game must be worth more than she was asking just by reaction only. I learned, after trying to convince a flea market vendor, that if you give them the reaction they desire, like anger, then they realize in their mind that the item must be worth more than they are asking for it. You just started this person on a quest to find out what games are rare and which ones are not. She will be all over the net trying to learn the rarity scale so she can up her prices on guys like me who might stop by just to browse and notice the lower price games are common where the higher priced games are where they should be. This vendor probably has a stash heading for eBay next week that will get her more than what she would have asked for in the first place. My theory. Keep them ignorant. Just because they are asking say $8 for their games could be a good thing. Especially if a Waterworld is in the mix. When they don't get interested in rarity they are the most vulnerable.

All that is listed here. PM sent!

Added in some trade wants. Lets get cookin'!

Definitely has to be Warlords. Everywhere I have gone there is a Warlords cart in the mix. Sometimes up to 5 copies or more. Ttruth is I like the game. Just gets old seeing it everytime I search for gold.

Marketing can always seem to drive prices up a little. It's the harder, more rare items that will more than likely go up in price IMO.

Marvel vs. Capcom 2 with an Agetec or x arcade stick. Yeah, it's that good. Sega fishing. Yeah that's another one. House of the Dead 2 with the light gun. Another good reason. Playing Quake III online. Playing Unreal Tournament with the Panther DC stick. If you want to try a system that really had many accessories and possibilities, here ya go! Oh, did I mention the Treamcast. Portable and extremely fun to use. There are too many reasons too list. Just get one!
