  1. I have heard that there is an....... Xante Subterranea. I think something like that would and should go for more than an AII cart. Just my opinion though. :|

No way. One Xante is the same as another unless its an undiscovered unreleased game.

How's that. Not trying to argue but if games are popping up that are a company that few know made certain games and you have a company that made a comp cart that is already established. Why would it not be worth more. Given that it is proven it is a true authentic copy and not a repro hack cart. :|

  2. I would say that an Atlantis 2 cart with a mint label would not command more than $1,500. I feel I am a better authority than anyone on this forum to know the value of an Atlantis 2 cart today as I recently sold one.

If you want to prove me wrong, list it on Ebay for 99c starting price and lets see what it gets. End of story.

I like that idea, put it up with a 99 cents starting bid, go ahead and set your reserve at $18,000, and lets see what kind of dollars this thing pulls  I would be amazed if it got $1,500 in this condition.

    I said $1,500 with a mint label...

Edit: Why even set a reserve. If Homer is sure this thing is worth so much and he is interested in selling, just let the auction play out.

Eventually a legit one will surface with no reserve. When that happens then we will see. :)

Are you saying your AII cart is not legit. Have you been pullin our legs. :ponder:

  3. This system is what I would consider one of Atari's very versatile systems. You can play alot of 2600 games on it. The model I got won't let you insert certain kinds of 2600 carts though. Like Tigervision carts. Has good graphics for the technology. Awesome retro system!!! :D :D

  4. Well thanks. You know the funny thing is. No one blinked an eye when Buyatari put a $77,000 price tag on his NWC Gold cart on Ebay. At the time the highest price paid for one of those carts was $7,500. Where was the outrage there. :ponder:

I think everyone was in more shock and said ....OH well, if someone is going to pay that. Hooray for the seller. Now I think Atari on eBay has really put the strain right now. I have noticed alot of games coming out of the closet the past few years that some thought would never show up on eBay but only for private sale. eBay is either a cruel or very generous monster. A nice catch 22 for society. Things will get back to the way they were. I hust want to soak it up for now. I only have the best of intentions in what I say. That's all. Again Good luck. ;)

  5. See I don't have to convince 80 percent of the people who look at this. I don't have to convince 10 percent. Heck I don't have to convince 1 percent. All I have to do is convince the 1 in a 1000 that look at this that it is worth something to that amount. Again I realize it is probably a 1 in a 100 shot. But it sure beats the lottery. And the worst that could happen is that a few more people are cognizant of the cart.

Good luck on your ticket Homer. I just you honestly are being funny HA HA about all this. I think your trying to rile everyone up. ;)

  6. I'm sure it has to do with the neglect of some collectors bidding. Alot of BIG TIME collectors probably already have most of the items that you speak of. I know I like to see some prices come down. As for the collecting part of things. I am now in it to keep what I got. (When it comes to the hard to find games.) I do feel for those guys who did shell out big bucks at some point only in turn to see some items decrease. It could be the holidays. Who really knows. I am glad to see that small time collectors like myself get something I never thought I could ever afford. I hope this does eventually turn to good after awhile and not turn sellers into haters by putting some outrageous price tags on everything they own. NO OFFENSE HOMER. Just speaking in general. I am afraid that this is what is going to happen though in order to bring things back to a level satisfying those BIG TIME sellers. :|
