Decent game. Maybe a bit too easy.

That actually sounds like a pretty fun shooter. Too bad it was never finished

IIRC Champ Games was going to work on a new hockey game called "Championship Hockey". Don't think it was anywhere near complete though which is too bad. Love their stuff from their DOS days to Lady Bug and Conquest of Mars. A new hockey homebrew for the 2600 would be awesome.
My sports wish list would be NES Baseball, NES Wrestling, Tag Team Wrestling (arcade), Hat Trick (arcade) and One On One (Larry Bird vs. Dr. J.)
Pete Rose is nice but flawed.

I guess I don't like the fact that sometimes you have to hit the ball AWAY from the hole and hope for a good bounce to get enough force on the shot. Take the first hole for example, if you wanna shoot it straight up the screen you can get no force since your guy can only move a little bit down below the ball. Maybe I just need to practice.

What's the best verified score in Golf? I might try to equal it or best it in Stella using the save states just out of boredom.

I would love a first person bowling game like Tenth Frame for the c= 64

I want to include as an under-rated piece of genius the M-Network game "Frogs and Flies" (only when played on difficulty A, where you can leap off the lily pads).
First, the sounds, the sequential day-to-night action, the graphics, and the 1-player vs. computer difficulty level all make this an entertaining and unique game. As a 2 player game, it is just as entertaining.
If you have only played this game on emulation, you need to change the difficulty settings to A, as B only lets you jump from the middle of one lily pad to the other--no fun. The great fun is being able to make unusual jumps that land you in the water to get the best results in this game.
Never played it? Go try it!!!
I've loved this game for YEARS and never tried the difficulty switches! Adds a whole new element to the game. Cool!

What, I said right up front that I cheated.
-
Nope, nothing special.
Also, some people claimed to have done it when I started a thread about it a long time ago.
I like to start way at the bottom, count 3 1/2 of the ball rolling Rrrrr Rrrrr Rrrrrs and then push up.
But I guess the built-in randomness defeats that strategy.
Trial and error until I got there. I think I got 270+ playing for real though

Yeah, I flaked on that one too. Would love a copy.

What about Fall Down? That's a great two player game. And quite good even single player.

Did that. No instructions. The instructions are under "Mole Hunter" and I didn't bother to click the links for the other names. Figured they'd be linked to all versions.
-
Funny, I checked AtariMania. I can never find anything on that site. Anyway, thanks. Seems like I got the basic idea. Decent effort but too easy and too repetitive. Oh well.
-
Anyone have instructions for this?
The basic premise is that you whack the moles that come out of the flashing holes and once in a while a snake or bird tries to attack you
At one point I lost my hammer and had to wait for another one to appear. No idea what caused that.
Is that all there is to the game?
What is the timer for?

I'd love an adapter for the Vectrex controller. That might be my all-time favorite controller

Pole Position doesn't have points, per say, just winning and losing.
It absolutely has points.

Don't see how one burner over another would make any difference in price.

I agree; am I the only one who was disappointed that it wasn't a real maze? I mean, you couldn't go backward into a room you just left...made no sense to me as a kid. Just frustratingly illogical.
but the laser shooting robots and bouncing evil smiley face, completely logical!

I've given up looking for games in the wild. And with my CC2 I stopped looking on eBay. But it's awesome that people can still score in the wild.

I am sure Mark Chapman shared your view of John Lennon and look what happened to him! Jesus Albert why are you pandering to this crap? Are we now promoting the idea that because we dont like someone that they should be bumped off for the greater good? Bill is right, stop hiding behind the mask and go public with your true feelings and see how long you remain free!
What do you expect from a guy who has "faggot" in his avatar?
