Why does the chopper in Chopper Command not have the same problem as the ship in Defender.

Fix-It Felix Jr. Atari 2600 Game?
godzillajoe replied to SalemFrost7800's topic in Atari 2600 Programming
This one needs a proper ASM version with some color. The bB one looks like ass. 1977 Odyssey 2 ass. -
Too bad they didn't use the same mechanism for Miniature Golf. It's bizarre and confusing as is.

Awesome. My avatar is Pac-Man run through Photoshop filters and I thought it looked cool and sorta like an oil painting so I actually painted it. Atari. It inspires! Also, why in the car?!

Perfect song to play Atari to! And featuring WWF's Wendi Richter and Captain Lou!

It's ugly as hell but I have a soft spot for this game. I'm assuming there is a best possible minimum score if you make the same shot every time. Or does it throw in some randomness like Bowling?

What if Kool-Aid Man was never released in stores?
godzillajoe replied to kyle's topic in Atari 2600
I remember the comic book ads and we bought Kool-Aid so I ended up with the cart. Not having a dog, never knew about Chuck Wagon And I never knew about Tooth Protectors else I would have had mom buy what toothpaste sponsored that one just to get it -
well it says right on it "Game cartridges from Parker Brothers for Atari..." so it's clearly a catalog

so this will be a dumb question. in the past I've been able to find where lives are stored or score is stored sorta by dumb luck. hacked dig dug to start at level 99 and Millipede to start at 900,000 points to see how many spiders would be bouncing around, gave my self 255 lives on some games, so anyway my dumb question is.... Is there a method for finding these values? Where does an Atari game "start" There's certainly not a main() like I'm used to

I'm old. Of course I know Blue Oyster Cult. I bought that record BECAUSE of Godzilla. How did they get away with it, Toho is very protective of their trademark. I have a feeling this game will get a C&D order if they find out about it. eBay here I come! -

BOC? Any self respecting G fan would crank up the Akira Ifukube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PDeU42u2s2Y -
Were any of the proposed games even started?

$118 for an unfinished game. Pretty good score. I really gotta learn bB and cash in. -
I posted this months ago. I win.

Is it random or do the other cars come in the same pattern every time?

Maybe she coded it *in* the kitchen. While waiting for the pies to finish baking. That said, Wabbit is a nice looking game, so she has my respect. Let's not go crazy over an obvious joke.

Breathlessly awaiting the Bb version -
Lately I've been playing Rampage! and I think the 2600 version is better than the 7800 version. 7800 looks nicer but it's crazy hard while the 2600 is a bit more forgiving despite being uglier. Still kinda captures the feel of the arcade game.

Yeah, I never knew you could bounce back the ingredients or what the hell I was supposed to be doing. Never made any progress. RTFM I guess.

OK, it's an interesting concept but needs more "oomph" as it's very one dimensional. Stay to the right of the building so the flying chicken can't surprise you and methodically pick off the lower bricks till you get bored. How about hiding some power ups in the buildings that give you your atomic breath, maybe Godzilla can glow for a bit and then you can either use it to kill the other monster or wipe out a whole row of a building. Last for 5 seconds or one blast. And some jets and helicopters and other monsters that shoot at you, keep you moving. I dunno. Needs more "danger" I guess I'm a huge G fan so I'm critical but to have a G game for the 2600 would be awesome I do think the Godzilla sprite looks great, kind of like the way Japan loves to make cutesy baby versions of stuff. As I collector I have tons of these things as keychains and other junk -

I didn't know there was a Haunted House remake released in 2010. And no surprise, it was pretty bad.
