  1. I normally sell my sealed games and trade them for opened ones. I honestly don't see the point of sealed stuff, but that's just me. This reserve on this X-Man is pretty high. I bid $750, and it's not even met, so keep this in mind when bidding. I will completely remove the reserve. I was just worried that there wouldn't be much interest with Pepsi Invaders, Crazy Climber and Quadrun all on Ebay at the same time.
  2. Good luck. If you need any other info PM me. I'm new here but I am just finishing my first trade with Blackjack and I have good feedback on Ebay. I had one negative and it was completely my fault. I bid on an item right before I went on vacation and by the time I got back I already had the negative. Stupid mistake on my part, especially for $.99 item. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=130165992002
  3. I did get these six for .50 each. These were my only find all summer besides a bunch of commons. It was the best early Saturday morning of the summer Wabbit Shark Attack Tapper Worm War 1 Word Zapper Smurfs save the day I also missed out on Chase the Chuckwagon at the same flea market. It was also .50 and the guy in front of me bought it. I would like to know what else he got. I was going to ask him but he was gone before I finished paying for my games. I did get an awesome deal on a Super Nintendo system with 15 games and 3 controllers for $5.... and it all works.
  4. Huh? That was Zwackery that said that. I don't care if you sell it...if you're not a big Atari collector, you may as well. I'M SORRY PingvinBlueJeans. Your right Zwackery I'm flipping it already.
  5. Anybody that is interested, it will be up for grabs on Ebay. I don't know how soon yet. If anybody wants to know anything about the game or me just send me a message. I would offer it here on the forums but I feel that I haven't been around for long enough for anybody trust. I sell auto parts on Ebay for work, we won the Ebay motors top seller award for 2006. I also buy and sell on a personal account. I think people will feel safer going that route. You are right PingvinBlueJeans, I'm flipping it already. Thanks Crazy Climber and homerwannabee.
  6. My son tried to open the inner plastic on the holy grail of my Dragonball toy collection last year. The individual parts inside have been sealed since 1986. Took me almost 10 years of constant searching to find it. Just thinking of removing the plastic makes me feel sick. I'm sure anybody that wants one of these games in this condition feels the same way. Thats why Stella is so great I know it's not Atari but if anybody wants to see one of the rarest Dragonball toys PM me and I will send you some pictures. Collecting these vintage (80's) toys is what got me interested in Atari again.
  7. I'm sure I'm not the first to notice but the box is different too. The PAL box does not have the "MYSTIQUE IS NOT AFFILIATED WITH ATARI, INC" on the very bottom..... just a newbie observation
  8. I must be a different cat. I have no problem telling people how desired a game is. This is the way I look at it. The more people know how valuable a game is the MORE likely that people will look for that game. The more people that look for a game. The MORE likely that one of these uber rare games will show up. The more uber rare games that show up, the more collectors that get to have an awesome piece to their collection. I really wish people would spread the word more often. I am sick and tired of seeing uber rare games only showing up once or twice a year. Remember Crazy Climber having more people trying to search for games for us Atari 2600 collectors is actually a good thing. I'm not sure how you came up with the idea that I don't want more games to be found? Didn't mean that at all. I was just saying since he got a deal he should hook some one up also, but still profit nicely of course. I also have trouble believing that if a box of 75 left over Pepsi Invaders or Atlantis 2's were found, decreasing the value tremendously, that you would be happy that more collectors had them....I think you would be upset that your investments would no longer be worth as much. Just my opinion. Good point there. Though I am not talking about a huge stash being found. I just saying that a few more would be cool. Trust me, when I found out that the stash of Motorodeo and Ikari warriors games was more than 60 it really sucked knowing my deal of getting these games for "only" $200 a piece went down the toilet. At the time when I bought these at the CGE in 2005 these were far and away my most valuable games I have ever had. Now of course these games are down on the list of rare items that I would actually show to people. As far as 75 Pepsi Invaders or Atlantis II's actually being found. I guess I would have solace in the fact that my letters and docs to the Atlantis II game would still have value And also the odds of this scenario actually happening is almost zero since these games were not commercially released with only a specific amount of games intended to be made. So double How many Atari Age members own a sealed in box X-Man game? That is the real thing I want to know, not what it is worth monetarily. I want to know how rare it is. Should it go in my Captain Morgan Treasure box? Thats where I put all my stuff that I am saving for my son. To me having something that is unobtainable is better than having the money I got out of it.
  9. Exactly, that would be impossible to determine. Believe it or not, in the end that's pretty accurate. I don't even know why a rarity guide for boxes/boxed games is even a thought. Any collector already knows that a box for any game R5 or higher is going to be tough to find. Rarity increases greatly as you go up the scale to the point that R9-R10 boxes are just about impossible to come by. But being that less than ten percent of the copies of any game (whether Pac-Man or Stronghold) are going to have the box, this is already understood. Does anybody really need a rarity guide to tell them the difference in rarity between a Music Machine box and a Stronghold box? Music Machine seems rarer, but let's be honest here...they're both damn near impossible to find. With any rarity guide for boxes, you'd have to use a e100-point scale for it to be accurate (which would be impossible to construct) and in the end, I don't really see what the point is...you'd really be splitting the finest of fine hairs in many cases. How rare are the Beat'em & Eat'em, Custers Revenge and X-Man video games if they are still factory sealed in the original plastic and box? That is what I have been trying to figure out on my other posts. I don't care about the monetary value at the moment. I just want to know if there are 1000 other people that have X-Man still sealed or are there only 100, or only 10. I can't decide if I want to sell it or keep it. If there are only a few X-man known to exist that are still sealed then I will be leaning more towards putting it in my Captain Morgan treasure box and forgetting about it for 10 or 15 years along with my other rare things. I like the uniqueness of a good piece of history.
  10. I think my PAL Custer's Revenge is even harder to find HAH my PAL Mystique double-ender Burning Desire/Bachelorette Party with case and instructions would surely be more rarer, theres only 2 known to exist. ,mine and another one that is only the cart Is there any kind of database that keeps a list of how many of any given cartridge exists? That would be a cool data base for rare or even sealed games.
  11. Not in it just for the money but I know a deal when I see one. If the game was loose it would be a different story, I wouldn't think about selling it. I don't need a center piece for my collection. I play and collect for the memories and the fun of the games. How stupid would it be to put a very rare game on the shelf next to my 200 or so normal games. Why keep something to myself that I wasn't even looking for when somebody else really wants or needs it? When and if I decide to sell it, all the money goes to my five year old sons saving account. I can't think of a better way to spend my whore profits
  12. It's very simple: PAL: http://www.atarimania.com/zoom_frame.php?T...amp;NUM_IMAGE=1 NTSC: http://www.atarimania.com/zoom_frame.php?T...amp;NUM_IMAGE=1 Thanks for your help. Now I just have to decide if I should keep it or let it go to somebody that needs it for their collection.
